  1. Hi, according to the manual it is a matter of sliding then prising out the light. my ones dont seem to move. is the small slotin the light relevant for its removal? had a look on line forum but no instruction for removal. what is the correct method tia
  2. hi, car back from dealer. part of the wiring loom to the oil sensor was replaced, along with the sensor itself.it would appear not to be an isolated incident.so if anyone gets the oil sensor flashing , check the connector first, then go to the dealer

  4. hi, it was flashing yellow, dealer said possible corrosion in connection. dont know if fixed or variable service. car has done about 100 miles.OTR 28/10/16
  5. it would appear to be a connection issue on the sensor. my car going for investigation this week. water? getting into the connector causing oil sensor light to flash. garage say it is being asked by skoda to look at the issue, as ther appears to be a few cars affected.
  6. Hi, has anybody had any issues with the oil sensor. it would appear to be a connection issue, and water is getting into the connector. the sensor alarm appears to flash up randomly. it is not an oil level issue. it is a 1.2 tsi sel dsg. i have been told not a one off issue
  7. Hi, can you please tell me which fuse was pulled. I looked at manual appears to be 19. removed this fuse but radio still working does the radio go off when this fuse is pulled? TIA

Hi, all, I have had the Cambelt done on my car and SWMBO's car at Hunters of Linlithgow.inclusive of all parts price is a very reasonable £285, includes the water pump. total cost for service , mot, and Cambelt was £399.95 Would recommend this garage .They also are very competitive for tyres so if you live in east central Scotland may be worth a visit No connection with garage just a satisfied customer
  9. Hi, car went for its 2nd MOT and advised there is slight play on the front suspension arm rear bush. Car has only done 18k.Thinking of changing out to Polybush as they are used on Landrovers and Buses, comments please 1.4 tdi service and cambelt change:-service £110 :-cambelt tensioner &water pump& drive belt £285 :-Mot :-29.50 and Brake fluid chg £25 the prices are good compared to the dealer

There is a small nic nac? holder at the rear of the consul. I think this may be an ashtray on some models. Get in the back and just take this out, it pulls upwards without too much force. You can then see the 10mm adjuster nut. Its easy just to give it a couple of turns. Its even easier with a 10mm ratchet spanner as you don't have to keep taking it off and putting it back. Don't over do it. Good luck, this should take about five minutes.

  14. hi all, had the same problem on my Fabia 11 but did not notice problem on SWMBO's car Fabia 11 but later model.Investigation reveals short handle on newer car Part No:- on older car 6Q0 882 252 A Long handle Part No:- on newer car 5J0 882 252 A short handle At this moment waiting reply from Skoda UK Lindsay
  15. Rattling from LHS. Does it happen when someone is in the passenger seat or not ? Trying to trace noise it occured only happened when in car alone :confused: discovered same as Little Jo it was the seat belt support adjacent to the console. "slight " adjustment and now it is ok
  16. Answering my own question. I have now been told that black sill covers are not going to be made as per catalogue Stainless inserts only
  17. Hi can anyone advise if the black sill cover is available (part no KDA 700 001) they are in the catalogue, but Skoda say the part no. does not exist any info appreciated (the s/s inserts are available but don't go with colour of the car Cappuccino) thanks
  18. Hi, guys/gals, SWMBO took delivery of class 90 today.Impresssd by dealer when doing the deal ,not sure if he was Very happy with the overall package buy salesman Steven. He took time to familiarise us with controls. Only done a few miles today but I prefer this car to the Honda Accord Hopefully Chatham Halbeath will look after car and I will report on any updates Fabia 3 1.4 TDi SWMBO previous car Honda Accord 1.8 vtec sport I drive the PUG 106 XND!!
