  1. Exactly the same happened to me. Went to clean the headlamp unit only to find the bracket had snapped. Taken to dealer who immediatly stated that I had been in an accident or someone else had bumped into me. Despite strong arguments against this and contact with Skoda UK I had to pay £650 for a new unit. NOT IMPRESSED.
  2. I concur. I posted here about 18 months ago. I had the same problem with my S2. Outlook was the problem which in turn was synched with Google and then the phone. Nightmare to find which entries were problematic but sorted eventually to those with multi line addresses, multi entry phone numbers and some email addresses. Decided in the end to create entries for my most common callers etc and just created seperate entries for them. No problem since.
  3. Yep mine to. Stick it all the way in and 'click'. Stick it a little way and 'Bob's your uncle'.
  4. Hi folks. Just to update. Everything appears to be working fine with HFP. My phone is still under warranty so won't root just at the moment. Only thing I have noticed is that not all of my contacts are downloading. When updating list via Columbus I am only getting 80 of 93 contacts. Is there a limit? or perhaps I need to mess around with settings.
  5. Hello everyone. My 2011 Superb is in for its first service. Can any one tell me what the current map versions are [i currently have 7.1] and the current firmware of the Columbus unit. My dealer tells me that the current maps according to the computer is v.7.0 so not very hopeful that they will know. Thanks.
  6. Hi. Hpoom. All is good with HFP. Quite right though. rSAP is old tech now. And much Android development is not supporting the protocol anymore. Thanks.
  7. Just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S2 with the latest Android OS update. It appears that Samsung no longer support rSAP protocol. Is anyone else having a problem and what possible solution might their be?
  8. Hello everyone. My first post for a very long time. Now on my second Superb and I have had no problems to speak of. No the problem. Started my Superb in car park at he office. Then heard massive cracking sound!!! Got out looked around and noted a bog gap between hear-side headlight unit and wing. Opened bonnet to see the top mounting bracket for headlamp had snapped away. All head lamp functions still working [the adaptive thing still does its' stuff]. Straight to the dealer. Closer inspection and I am told all the headlamp mounting brackets have snapped and a new headlamp unit is required.[Min £350.00]!!! On asking the cause of this failure I am told it MUST be as a result of accident damage. Well I ask show me the damage? No signs of any damage anywhere! Except a small stone chip low down on near-side valance. Surely major damage would need to have been caused to sheer/snap all headlamp mountings. Has any one else suffered similiar failure. Thoughts please. Skoda Superb Elegance CR 140 DSG June 2011 Thank you Neil
