The cars in getting fixed now got a brand new fabia 1 1.2 HTP from the garage to run about in till mine is fixed and for what it is, its a good wee car quite quick and turns on a penny, still, cant wait to get mine back!

Hey Folks Happy new year and all that Jazz hope you all had a good one ,right today i locked my 1.9TDI Octavia and the bloody key went snap one half is inside the locked boot lock and the other is dangling from my keys ,I lock and open the car from the boot normally (drivers door lock is faulty) got a shot of a workmates Clio and drove the 70 miles home to get spare key ,got it drove all the way back to the car and found that my spare key is not for my car at all (think on closer inspection its a Fabia key ) my question is .....does it have to be a Skoda dealership that i phone or would i be cheaper to call a private company ,Can private companys cut and code keys? and basicly what would you do! thanks folks Olly:confused:

****ola! thats a fair whack will go get the MAF meter checked out ,my turbo performs fine unless i am doing about 70 - 80 (i have my own private air strip!!) could this indicate that the turbos fine but the MAF meter is buggered? and how mutch is it to get the MAF meter sorted Thanks Folks ..........Olly

well the car has done 110000 already and has never had a new turbo have had a wee problem with the car going into limp mode on the moterway and im not sure the turbo is performing properly i will get it tested b4 i go ahead and buy a new one but could do with some prices and ideas just in case

Hey folks am thinking of replacing the turbo on my 1.9TDI Octavia prior to re-map how much will a Turbo be and are there any non standard turbos that would boost performance and be easily fitted? thanks Olly

After driving my Octavia on the moterway sometimes i find that uphill it sometimes struggles for revs and after coming off the moterway its almost as if the turbo aint kicking in but if i stop turn the car off and back on again its fine if anyone has any idea whats up please let me know ,cheers Olly

you can get a bluetooth radio from lidl for 70 squids plays sd cards usb devices cd mp3 and everything else plus your calls come thru the sterio and the head unit has small mic built in will review it once i have installed it

Just bought a 1.9 td 2001 s reg Octavia just wondering if anyone knows some simple engine or chip mods to get it going a bit quicker, thanks folks....Olly

Get a sump guard ,I Just bought a 1.9td Octavia and cracked the sump about 50 hours afterwards DOH!! getting it fixed now and steel guard fitted too seems crazy that there is no guard as standard on some Octavias as the sump is so low anyway all the Best PS..(dont know about dog trays but the Octavia I bought does have rather doggie smelling back seats any advice on how to clean them?)

Hey folks wonder if anyone can help just bought an Octavia 1.9 td and hit the sump while driving went out to the car the following day and there was a river of oil down the road could any one estimate a price for getting this fixed will i need a whole new sump or just the cover etc thanks folks
