  1. your best bet is to keep it standard. have seen no end of probs with the uprated n75 on remapped cars!! if its surging theres a good chance thers either a fault with the car or the mapping isnt great!!!
  2. i agree with fatty5000. an uprated recirc will be better if you ever get it mapped. atmospheric valves can cause all sorts of probs with remaps!!
  3. on the vag range you best off buying an uprated recirc dv. the recirc valve is there for a reason to keep the system closed loop! yes the standard bosch 1 is crap but an uprated 1 is your best bet
  4. thats good then, cheers for that. always like to get probs sorted!!
  5. by disconnectin the battery you reset the ecu which in turn does a throttle body alignment without using diagnostics. recommended every now and again especially if your car has been remapped
  6. no one seems to know why its so hit and miss. there are so many things on the vrs that can cause the issue!! its just a case of going through them 1 by 1. i know martin tried a lot of things on his and from what he told me it did get better but never 100% but as ive read now it seems to be sorted.
  7. martin is right. it seems to be be hit and miss with the vrs. some cars seem to run maps fine yet others dont like it.
