Forgot to mention, I'm getting fault code 03301

My drivers door will not auto lock with with the key fob or when the car goes over 10mph. It sounds like it's trying to but it just wont lock. It will lock if I turn the key in the barrel of the door though. Is this likely to be the wires in the loom or the actual lock mechanism? I'm guessing it will be the mechanism as if the wires had broken in the lom.it wouldn't try an lock would it? But on the other hand, if it was the mechanism would it lock with the key in the barrel?

After owning my car for over a year I've just realised I have no jack or spanner in my boot, can I buy/use any skoda jack off eBay? They have one for mk1 Fabias cheap.

Yeah I think your right, would of thought the tech Monte Carlo would have come with dab though. Plus thmmwith the manual saying it does kind of ****es me off.

Ive just entered my VIN into the Skoda website to see about satnav updates, but apparently they have to be done at dealer, and for a fee for this head unit!! But whilst I was on the page it said I could download radio logos, which I did and put them on a FAT32 formatted SD card, but all I get it "error" when I put it into the head unit, is it possible to have station logos on this head unit?

Just checked my VIN on skoda and it says it can only be updated at service! is that true? its a Amundsen+ in a Fabia monte carlo tech or is the MIB2 update the same??? Thanks in advance...

Dan4291 - I have a Galaxy s6 plus thingy and it works fine with that dongle.

As I say Ive had no issues with mine, it plugs in upside down as the lights point to the floor, but with the Bluetooth connection I just connect and use the app.

Whats the best oil to use? im guessing 5W-30 fully synthetic, but just want to make sure. Thanks

I have, I posted a link to the one I bought earlier on in the thread. No issues, cost £16.10 for the app.

The dongle I bought came with its own cd/software, Don't know how good it is or what it does as I used this app.

Scrap what I said before. The auto lock now works. I think auto lock and unlock have to both be activated.

I've emailed the company asking about the auto lock. See what they say come back with, not sure if any other settings need to be on. I also tried to add auto unlock when key is removed but that also didn't work. Just seems a little odd ever setting works fine except auto lock/unlock.

Yeah, thought as much, I was doing 80 on the motorway and it still didn't come on! hahahaha
