  1. Don't worry I've sorted it. Lift and push back slightly at the front to release the clips which hold the squab in place, then keep it low - just clear of the clips - and slide it backwards to disengage the clips then lift it out. Its the same as the Golf 6 and 7.
  2. My daughter has lost a ring down the belt buckle opening in the LH rear seat, I saw it but as I stuck a finger in to get it, it fell and is now somewhere under the seat squab. Anyway, my issue - how does the seat squab actually come out? I am gathering I need to take out the isofix bits - is this just the covers or the whole plastic recessed bit that goes down and behind the isofix bar? Then I need to pull it upwards at the front edge? It seems solidly fixed at the moment; how much force is needed and where is it applied? The photo shows the back edge pulled out from under the seat back, i think I am going to need more room than that, so if you can please confirm that the whole seat base comes out. Sorry I am a bit confused about doing this without breaking something. Thanks very much
  3. My USB and AUX connections are also dodgy, USB regularly disappears and the AUX input is useless, as it keep cutting in and out. I will be raising it at the first service. VRS Tdi delivered April 14. Sorry I have just realised I posted pretty much the very same thing 2 months back - must be my age.... i had no recollection of this thread at all....)
  4. I have the same issue with my usb, keeps disappearing as jonjc describes. The aux input is also intermittent and a waste of time. plan to have it checked at first service.
  5. I just set up my individual mode with all the sport settings but with 'engine' set at normal, works for me
  6. My Fabia vrs that I was selling to my mate's son next weekend, blew the turbo yesterday It just keeps getting better.
  7. Ordered Dec 7th and has been sitting in Emden for just over a week now, meteor grey manual Cr VRS hatch.
  8. That little lot makes my Garrard 301 and crt telly look a little dated......
  9. My meteor grey hatch is being built this week I am reliably informed - thanks for sharing your picture, I am now very happy I chose that colour
  10. Ordered a diesel VRS hatch on saturday 7/12/13 and have been told 18 to 20 weeks approx...... so that's the back end of April
  11. Anyone got a meteor grey hatch? I would like to now what mine will look like when it arrives in the late spring
  12. Any WD40 type spray works fine (sorry we used up all the wise and witty comments back in 2008.... ) Mr Wobblytickle was a one off that's for sure... It does need reapplying from time to time, more so if the seat gets moved a lot. HTH
  13. Here's a family special, side by side shot of the 1.2 classic and the vrs, The (my) vrs is sprint yellow and the lad's 1.2 is lemon yellow. We do get some odd looks from passers-by, we even had a yellow octy vrs mk1 pull up outside for a look, do we care? Do we heck
