At RaceChip we specifically program our optimisation software for the particular engine in which our product is being installed for performance optimisation. For this reason, unlimited re-use of our chip tuning products is only possible if the new vehicle has exactly the same engine. If you want to use your RaceChip in a different vehicle, it will have to be reprogrammed. In most cases, we'll offer you the option of reprogramming your RaceChip product to suit your new vehicle. This means we will load the respective RaceChip optimisation software onto the product and deliver the connection cable required for installation in your new vehicle to you. You will understand that we can offer this service only if we still have the same product (or a new equivalent) in our range. We offer this option up to 36 months after purchasing one of our products. The cost of a reprogramming (including the required cable) is GBP 109 (incl. VAT) (1). With RaceChip GTS or Ultimate, the first reprogramming is included as part of the purchase package and so is free of charge. With RaceChip GTS Black, the first two reprogrammings are included as part of the purchase package.(1) For a reprogramming, the hardware must still be in a fully functioning condition. Delivery costs will be invoiced on a case by case basis. Sorry for the delay in answering but the above states that as it is a RaceChip GTS Black then it is free of charge apart from postage. I have looked on the RaceChip site and I don't think it is compatible with the Yeti. The Black version is for higher powered engines.

The box is set up for the 280 but can be reprogrammed for any vehicle. Would have to be sent back to Racechip. According to spec the gain is +54bhp. Have a look on Racechip website. I went for the remap as I couldn't be arsed with crawlling under the car to put the third lead on to the turbo boost loom and the remap is +70bhp.

Sport mode is good fun especially if it is used with a Racechip XLR throttle box AND GTS Black under the bonnet. I normally have the throttle box set to S+ and the GTS set to Sport. I have tried Throttle to R+ and GTS to Race and it turns the car into a complete animal and very quickly run out of road. Looking forward to the German autobahn in a couple of weeks! As for MPG (cos someone is going to ask!) I get 400 -450 miles per tank and for a 2 litre petrol 280 + 54 according to Racechip I can put up with that. Foot down = loads of smiles!!

This happened to me the first time I tried to open it. Went to dealer as car was not even one week old to be told that it was not covered under warranty. The next few minutes where quite eventful as I explained to the with loads of f..ing and blinding that was not happy with just taking delivery of a £40000+ car with all the extras. As I have had five cars from them they replaced the whole unit and no problem since but then again I don't think I have tried it since. I would advise to stand your ground and they will probably replace it under warranty.

Hi Do you have electric seats? If so go to Superb 2 forum for"Battery Drain Superb 2" Look for comments from me (Splinter) I had a problem with battery drain also and it was seat switches that had water in them! Hope this helps

Having just purchased a Superb 3 estate 280 with heated front screen I am now having problems making and receiving telephone calls. Car is 3 weeks old tomorrow 1000 miles and when making or receiving calls I get half way through a call and it drops. Anyone else with the same problem? Anyone know a fix? Damn good racing car though!!! Previous car Superb 2 OK but had normal screen

No slots in rear doors. Just put them in door pockets where we normally put stuff that is never used!! I only ever take the stuff out when selling the car.

Collected my Petrol Blue L&K 280 estate last Friday with three keys and two umbrellas in the front doors. Put the umbrellas from my last two Superbs in the rear doors. Job done. All passengers have their own umbrella!! Whaty........ I wondered what those useless bits of plastic with velcro were for. Thanks for the info!!

The actual wheel you need is 3T0419091AC. I bought one from a breakers in Sweden for my 2012 L&K estate. Although it is a black wheel now with a brown airbag only a perfectionist would actually notice it. They are rarer than rocking horse poo but if you keep looking you may find one! Good fun to use as the brown beast is now approx 210bhp and well run in.
