Great photo just what i need!! Can you do me a favour and show me where the jack handle is supposed to be?

Today I had a flat tyre and had to put on the temporary spare. I was surprised that the towing eye was not by the jack and other wheel changing gear. If it is not there, where is it?

Could be as for some unknown reason I have to connect my phone manually everytime I have to switch on the ignition. When I turn off the ignition there is the reminder not to forget my phone but when I switch off, it disconnects.

I have a brand new Koroq and i am having problems connecting my mobile in hands free. I have had the phone a couple of years and had no problems with my Yeti. With the Koroq it seems to loose the pairing with the phone after the ignition is turned off although i always get the message remember to take your telephone as i turn off the ignition. Any ideas fellow Koroqes?

I forgot to mention, the beep is barely audible.

I picked up a brand spanking new Karoq SEL 1.5 tsi last week and mighty pleased I am, however, there is an annoying beep every forty seconds or so. Can anyone make any (clean) suggestions?

I read in another forum on this site that if no evidence on a chip or strike is visible on the crack running a pencil down it may help . I did this and hey-presto there was a tiny tiny chip in the centre of the crack. A quick call to my insurance company and £85 later and I have a new windscreen. A big thankyou to all who replied.

I got in my Yeti this morning and noticed there was was an L shaped crack about 10 long at the bottom edge of the windscreen close to the driver's side wiper arm. It wasn't there last might when I parked the car in the garage. As the car is under 3 years old it is still under warranty and was thinking of claiming. I have read the warranty booklet that came with the car and it does not list the windscreen under exclusions. I inspected the crack closley and the is no sign of and impact at all. What do fellow member think of my chances of a windscreen replacement under warranty?

Having owned Skodas for over ten years and before that numerous VW Type 1 Beetles I think it time I paid a trip to the home of the VW Clan. Does anyone know if there are any organised coach or rail trips to Wolfsburg? I spent a few months down the road from Wolfsburg in Celle but had other things on my mind such as Herforder Pils, frauleins, defeating he Third Russian Shock Army, Dortmunder Pils and frauliens. I have looked at the ferry prices and they seem VERY steep so I reckon an organised trip would be better plus it would enable me to again sample larger quantities of Herforder/Dormunder Pils.

I remember reading somewhere a while back that it is possible to open a car using a mobile 'phone if someone on the other end of the phone presses a spare remote key-fob by the speaker of the phone. Is this just another urban myth?

I returned to my car in the car park and found that the passenger's door mirror has been written off by another vehicle. I have 'phoned my local dealer only to be told that there in no part number for the complete mirror only for the four separate component parts. Does anyone have the part number for the passenger mirror (non electric folding) for a 2010 Elegance Mk3 Octavia. The mirror has puddle light and welcome home etc, etc.

Hi everyone, I am picking up my brand new Octavia next week. I have had an Octavia 1 for 7 years and it has been the best car I have ever owned. I have been trying to source a pair of plastic headlamp protectors for the new one but have not had any luck. Can any one point me in the direction of a supplier?

I just popped in my local Skoda dealer the other day and saw that they had an estate in their new car compound. What a handsome beast.
