  1. is the 507 oil ok in the Fabia VRS ?
  2. there loads of threads on the forum about VRS fuel consumption it depends how you drive it etc i've seen over 630 from a tank , and below 250 after a track day
  3. seems to be quite a common occurance at the moment , that solenoid wire breaking
  4. the rear beam could be bent slightly, Basil , a member in warmer climes has had shims made to straighten the misalignment in his rear beam it could be that the beam was just made with the poor alignment built in
  5. it all depends what it says in your terms and conditions booklet that came with the 12 month warranty, water leaks may not be covered
  6. wet floors knocks from the front rusty rear discs
  7. i think you'll need to give the forum more info , i.e. what vehicle, engine, age etc
  8. i wouldn't worry to much about the biting point, as long as its not right at the top , it should be ok and may get a little lower when its bedded in
  9. incorrect bulbs can cause problems , putting a single element side lamp bulb in where a stop/tail bulb should be will have various lamps going on and off
  10. they are fitted the right way round , the thing that needed to be done when fitting was lining up the rubber bit sticking out with the aluminium mark on the console
  11. AFAIK they are the same at the hub mounting point
  12. a bad earth on the lamp unit will be apparent whatever position the switch is in , but you say all is ok when the switch is just on sidelamps
  13. i'd guess the switch is faulty, seems the most plausable reason for the lights to work then not after you've messed with the switch
  14. if you have any spare diesel , pull the T-piece connector out of the top of the fuel filter and tip the diesel in to fill the filter up , then try to start it the PD fuel system is pretty robust and generally doesn't give problems after petrol has been used
  15. is there anything specifically wrong with the Fiesta or are you just wanting to see if you can do things i think you will need a special lead to adjust anything , thats if you can adjust anything , and probably Fords own software
  16. there could/should be a drain at the bottom of the filter , whether it is actually accessible whilst the filter is in its mounting bracket is another matter, you may have to remove an intercooler pipe to see
