  1. Prizes for various things. Remapping @ £150
  2. Sooo, I wrote loads and half has shown up!!! Its a charity cruse about 21miles I think. All for fun, with dressing up both people and cars. (look at the gallery). Might be worth starting a list of whos going and meet up for a Briskoda section in the cruse?? Cost £5 PER CAR!, and you get a sticker, mince pie, cupper and a lot of fun. Loads for kids, and a few traders hopefully. Dave
  3. Evening guys and gals. If your near Bristol, or want to travel, can I guide you in the direction of this cruse for any car (although last year was almost all VAG). http://www.santa-cruz.co/
  4. Cheers Rob, I'm fine. Oliver (son) has still got a few hospital appointments and checkups etc. He's hard core! D
  5. Its really sad going through stuff thats Fabia related to stick on eBay :( 312mm Brakes are on there. Gotta do the spare key, handbook and case etc, and accelerator pedal. Just keep putting it off though. D
  6. 3 months... thats a month longer than me!! Cant say too much as I'm still waiting for the police, but basicly a van with roadrage decided to stop, fast! Cant say I was too impressed tbh, kept my cool, and insurance payed out etc, but I've had to claim on my insurance :( Just got myself a new car. Decided to go with a Mk5 Gt TDi. (a little bigger, with ISOFIX car seat, and I wanted VAG). D
  7. There my brakes on eBay (green ones). I had 37 emails about them the other day!! Loads of people want just the carriers. But it seems daft to split them up. Dave
  8. Ha, there my brakes. Thank you for linking them. Dave
  9. Also, its listed as a 5 speed, and doesnt mention about the creases in the roof!!
  10. Have a gander at this people http://www.copart.co.uk/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e1s1&lotId=20725472&returnPage=SEARCH_RESULTS Its my Fabia up for sale... NOT REGESTERED AS A CAT D, C, B, or A!! That means someone could buy it, fix it, sell it, and when the buyer HPi'd it, it wouldnt show as a write off! Dodgy. BUYERS BEWARE.
  11. Heres a quick pic for those who have asked. Not too happy as you can imagine. Whats partly so upsetting for me is I had been made redundant, and managet to get a job that paid not too bad, but my 1.6 8v Mk4 was doing about 20mpg on a good day, so my dad kindly bought it out of his savings!! And I've only had it arround 2 months :( Someone asked about having the (ex chrome) grill, and it looks ok in this pic, but I can assure you its not. Sorry. D
  12. With electric BOV's, you could set them to open at a certain PSi to release boost and save cooking an engine. But you'd have to want a hell of an engine before you got to that stage. D
  13. Just drill some holes in the bottom of the airbox = Free. KnN are known for there bad filtration. (ever held one up to the light? or seen how dirty a throttle body gets with one?). OEM is factry spec (as in, what Skoda would put in if they serviced it). I'd do the OEM filter, of contact RyanP on the TDiClub forum, he has paper cone filters which are very good indeed. HTH, Dave
  14. Got an iPhone? Get the iDump app It uses the motion sensors on your phone, and when you change gear, it goes Tssssss Ace.
  15. Cheers Jonny. If I find a Fabia half as nice as that one I will be a happy chappy (kind of, if you get me). Just noticed you've got VagCom. Can you set up "Miles to empty" on the Mrs Bora (02 plate TDi)? D
  16. Time for a little update. After taking ages to find a vRS that I liked for a good price, and really enjoying just going from A to B again, someone has decided to write it off :( Cant go into too much detail, but its going to be a total loss I'm sure. So once I've sorted everything out, I'll be selling my complete 312mm setup (new disc's, Mintax pads, refurbished calipers + carriers sprayed in a pale green). Also going to be selling a few other bits and bobs I've got, but it can all wait for now. I'll upload some pictures once I've spoken to the police (not sure if I'm allowed to yet). I'm really gutted, and have been driving so carfully too, especially with my son in the car. On a plus, metal can be replaced, so I'm going to start looking at Fabia's again soon. Its the car I wanted for soo long, and its been taken away from me :( Dave
  17. Wheels are NICE. As for remap. Is Castle Combe too far away? Circuit Motors there are expencive, but teally good. They even tap the manifold and stick an exhaust temp gauge in (and plug it after). HTH. Dave
  18. I think pic's may want updating on this thread!! Ha D
  19. Its not illegal matey. And usually has to be mapped to stop the dash light comming on (but wont bake your engine run badly). Dave
  20. How much can you do yourself? If you can cut the labour cost, then its well worth it.
  21. Yeah, the pic is just a universal picture, but if you read it, it does say there adjustable. And it will be top mount adjustable for the camber for sure. They cant be bad, as who else coats there threads in teflon? D
  22. I thought they must be fairly good as its what a lot of drift cars and TimeAttack cars use. I think this will be my next suspension A little more than the JOM's I told the Mrs I was getting, but these look far superior. Thanks turbo tic. D
  23. Anyone tryed these coilys: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/D2-RACING-SPORT-COILOVER-KIT-SKODA-FABIA-VRS-6N-99-07-Z0424-/330710631281?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cffe3c371 There camber adjustable, have teflon coated threads, dampening adjustable, and purple. They look like good shocks, but wondered if I was going to be a first or if someone had tryed them and could shed some light? Dave
