try this. best guide for removing door cards... Remove octyII door card so far I've got my Powerbass 4ch amp installed and a Rockford 10" P2...

thanks i will try this asap... as for the rear... well that will take some troubleshooting... wish cars were like firearms where you can take em all apart clean em up n service em nice and slap em back together again as easy as that... lol

this happens at least once or twice a week on the sunroof. the tilt will open/close then open again... got the upholstery drenched once... :(

hmmmm... i've had this problem for months now. had the wife tap the rear courtesy light a few time (near back glass because of sunroof) and it stopped a few times. now that no longer works. to my frustration the identical noise is also coming from inside the dashboard on the drivers side.... annoying as hell! this happens on mainly coarse road surfaces not necessarily outright rough... any insight at all into how to solve this will be appreciated! thanks guys.

Altifox, does that shop in Manchester have an online store? Sadly I'm way out in the Caribbean and no Skoda Accessories are available in our half of the globe. If not, can you tell me the make and model number of the HID kit so I can check if mainland US may stock it for Audi owners there? I decided on the new Smoked Devil's Eyes from Superskoda.com but if I can get a decent HID kit I'll go for that. Thanks btw Outstanding thread guys!!

i live in Trinidad and Tobago and we have hundreds of octyII's on the road... the one i own is my 2nd... i even saw some in Caracas, venezuela last week...

bloody hell.... they're good! but it makes me wonder... out of all vehicles they chose VW, Corolla and Octavia II... what u reckon is the reason for that? especially Octavia?

they seem to have gone to some manufacturers and designed dvd systems for some models... i see vw, skoda and toyota

Forgive me if this has been posted already but i thought i'd share it with those who haven't yet seen it.... Eonon Its nice but not sure if the acoustic proximity sensors will work or you have to swap it out for reverse cam...

thanks a lot! as an afterthought i noticed how easy it was to get the driver's door open even though it was pinched by the impact and i was dazed. also i heard of other car manuf air bags burning crash victims badly. i only got a slight burning sensation that lasted probably an hour or so... chest pains and headache were gone in 12 hours... just the scratches on my arm to heal.... this is my 1st major accident (and hopefully my last) and i'm not sure if this is normal but i almost feel guilty to be alive while the other driver bought the farm... saddest news i had in years...:(
