Wobbly Ride - 2010 Skoda Yeti 4x4 TDI
And yes... Next stop will be looking into the suspension as there's no way I'm going to part with this motor. I blooming love it 🤘🏻

Wobbly Ride - 2010 Skoda Yeti 4x4 TDI
Sorry the idle wobble was me horrendously explaining the problem 🤦. What I mean was dropping the clutch and letting the car tick over whilst moving sometimes corrected the issue or it would stay... This would happen even if the speed was kept at a constant, for example going down hill, remaining at the same speed but dropping the clutch the wobble would sometimes go... Sometimes stay! Really weird! This started me thinking it was something drivetrain related. As for tyres - I've had to go budget spec for the time being, all standard sizes 225, 50, 17 and have a B,B rating.

Post update!!! 4 new tyres and the wobble has gone 🤘🏻. Could have been done without the expense so close to Xmas but hey, needs must. What I will say is the old tyres on the car looked in great condition, loads of tread left, no cracking etc. I also found it strange how the tyres would react differently on a day today basis which really threw me as to what was the issue. Anyway, I can now actually enjoy driving the car again. Thanks again for all the feedback folks, much appreciated.

Wobbly Ride - 2010 Skoda Yeti 4x4 TDI
Thanks again for the replies folks. I'm leaning towards the torque wobble as the wobble of the car is in sync with how the engine is running. It's worse when the car is in the low rev range and disappears if I accelerate hard and drive the car like it's a hot hatch. Keep the rev range low and stick it in aow gear it's a wobbly ride about town at times. This is also apparent on the motorway if I'm doing 60 mph in 5th gear - get above 75mph... Gone 🤷 The only strange contradict to this is when I drop the clutch and free wheel the car the wobble sometimes remains... Just not as noticeable. Anyway - it's garage time so I'll get the issue looked at - my worry is the garage will just say... It's fine 🤦

Wobbly Ride - 2010 Skoda Yeti 4x4 TDI
Thanks for the quick replies. I've got 35 psi in the rears, 32 in the fronts and yes I think all suspension and bushes are stock. I was hoping the tyres would be the issue - still to be seen, but it very odd how the car seems to wobble with the tick over of the engine if that makes sense. It's almost feels like the engine is wobbling / lose and therefore making the car do the same. As for suspension, I'll replace one day, the car has been used and looked after well, but everything perishes in the end I guess. All expense 🫣

Wobbly Ride - 2010 Skoda Yeti 4x4 TDI
Hey all, before exploring the current issue I've got with my Yeti I thought I'd see if anyone has ever experienced this in theirs. My car is a 2010 4x4 Elegance with 113,000 miles and I've noticed that it has a weird kind of wobble (side to side) movement when I'm driving. This occurs usually at 2000 - 3000 revs and goes in sync with how the engine seems to be running. This is definitively more apparent when it's cold and the car hasn't warmed up. If I floor it, the car accellerates well and eventually the wobble stops. It also seems much worse when it's wet 🤷. I've had the wheels balanced, the tyres seem ok (all season Avon tyres). I've had the prop shaft inspected and all links etc are in good working order. Any ideas?... Has anyone had this issue and what solved the problem.

Haldex issue code 0010 Help. 2010 4x4 Elegance
Cheers for the reply. I'm praying it's an ABS issue as I'm thinking that's the cheapest fix bit looking at the history of the car there's no mention of any Haldex servicing so I'll be amazed of the pump has managed to survive this long 😬

Haldex issue code 0010 Help. 2010 4x4 Elegance
Hey guys, So I've got no active 4wd and have a fault code of AWD 0010 via VCDS. Is this a pump issue or a rear ABS sensor issue? I've never had the 4wd activate on the car so I'm thinking the issue may have been there when I bought the car. It's done 111,000 miles and I've just serviced the Haldex system with a new filter, reset all codes and still no luck with getting the rear wheels to show any life. Gutted as we've just had snow and my Yeti, a car I blooming love, aint working how it should! Any advice appreciated, I'll be ringing North East Auto Tech tmoz, thankfully I live around then corner from those guys. Here's praying it's not a potential big bill 🙏

Frequent DPF regens after remap. Is this normal
A local garage remapped the car for me so a phone call will be made tomorrow morning that's for sure. A little off topic and not something I'm looking to do but has anyone deleted their DPF? My Yeti is a 2010, done 110,000 miles and one day it's going to be a debate I will have to have no doubt.

Frequent DPF regens after remap. Is this normal
Hey guys, Since having my 2010 Yeti, 2.0tdi, 4x4, 140 remapped to 178ish I've notice the car runs very frequent dpf regens - approx 100 miles. I've attached the current DPF readings to the post, is something up or is this all normal? For the first time ever I had the DPF light come one the dash, a good run out and it went away. I then decided to run the VAG DPF as I was driving and was shocked to see the dpf racking up soot levels as quick as It did. The car runs very well, no issues bar the now annoyingly constant regens. Thanks

Heated Leather Seats - is there an upgrade element or do I need to replace with stock?
All sorted and not too expensive thankfully. Main dealer for the part and a local sear restorer / specialist fit the part 👌🏻

I think that's how I've managed to break the element. Gutted as you only find they don't work just before the cold weather begins 🤦🏻

Heated Leather Seats - is there an upgrade element or do I need to replace with stock?
Hey folks, It's as the title sais really. My drivers side leather seat base has stopped working, so it's time to replace the element on the bottom. The back of the seat is working perfect. Quick question... Is there an improved element I could buy, braided etc or will I need to replace stock with stock and hope it doesn't break/ snap after a couple of years use like my current one. Thanks
