hi guys i had a look at a few other posts on this topic and they seem pretty similar but another thing ive noticed is that the red light on the lock button on the drivers door is also staying on all the time even when the car is unlocked or im driving along. has anyone experience this problem? cheers

hi everyone its been a while since ive been on here as my mk1 oct vrs has been running well and ive had no problems or that was until this week. The problem started with the passenger side front window making a funny noise it was like someone was trying to put the window up and down without the glass actually moving then the window got stuck down but luckily i managed to get it shut up again, then when i was out for the day yesterday my car started acting weirder, i was sat in the car when the car started making the noise like i was locking and unlocking the car which lasted a few minutes then it would stop then when i stopped to put fuel in i locked the car but when i came back to unlock it it dropped the windows down like it does when you put the key in the lock and hold it. i rememeber reading about a few people having this problem a few months back but i couldnt rememeber what it was and was unsure what to search under. any help would be great many thanks Andy

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone on here could help me. Im after either a camcorder or a pair of binoculars which i can use at night to watch or record wildlife. I havent got a hugh budget probably around the £250 mark. cheers Andy

cheers guys, ill do a search. im not to worry about getting it fixed if it doesnt effect anything on the car. i think it has been reset but i had the same fault a year ago.

Hi there Ive been having some hesitation problems on my mk1 octavia vrs recently so i took the opportunity to pop over to the very heplful hedges house for him to plug my car in to his vag-com but the only fault that came up was this one for my climate control 1 Fault Found: 01274 - Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71) 37-10 - Faulty - Intermittent has anyone else had this problem or can anyone shed any light on this problem? cheers

a quick question to ktp did you make the stickers yourself or did you design them? i like them buy not sure about the lettering.

i think they look pretty cool. ive got a yellow octavia vrs and thought about getting something like this especially when i get my wheels painted black. looks very cool on yellow fabia

Ive just looked on black circle tyres website but the 225 seem to be dearer so where is the best place to look and should i go for the same speed rating of v which is on my tyres at the moment? also is there a list anywhere on the forum of which brands people would recommend? cheers

Hi there Just a quick question really ive been looking at some new tyres for my oct vrs and was looking through some old threads about tyres and just wondered why people changed from 205 50 17 to 225 45 17. is it because of the handling or the price of the tyres or something else? cheers

cheers guys ill have a search. the AMD remap is pretty good, i had to go back a few times and they had to tone it down a bit as it was running a bit jurky. If i was to have a remap again i think i would go for a revo as it gets alot better fed back.

hi guys ive been out in the car this morning and you guys hit the nail on the head, the interior light doesnt work when i open the drivers door. does anyone know the part number for the switch? cheers

Hi guys I cant remember if my 04 oct vrs used to have a warning buzzer when you stop the car but leave the lights on as in the last two weeks ive got out and lefted them on twice but luckily i wasnt away from the car to long so no flat battery. if it did have a warning buzzer but is not working, any ideas whats gone wrong? cheers Andy
