Can those of you who've taken delivery recently confirm that the infotainment problems of the past as now sorted. I'm about to take delivery of an SE L estate and wondering if I can expect any problems or have they all been sorted.🤨

Just been advised that my Octavia SE L Estate in Graphite Grey has arrived at the dealership. Ordered 21st April (23) so just a little over 6 month for delivery. Certainly not as long as some folk on here have waited! Pick up date to be arranged......exciting!

Don't want to talk it up but maybe, just maybe there is some good news with forecasted delivery times. In April (23) I ordered my Octavia SE L DSG Estate in Graphite grey with travel assist and a spare wheel as the only extras and I've been told its now built, on its way to the docks and should be good to go for a mid November delivery. Fingers crossed for no further delays!

I placed my order back in April (23) for the 1.5 TSI E-Tec Se L Estate DSG in Graphite Grey with a fairly bog standard spec fully aware that delivery could be anywhere in the next 12-18 months. I was somewhat surprised to receive an email from the dealer today that the scheduled build date is this week with a possible delivery date towards the end of October. Is this likely or is he being optimistic ? I'd be interested to hear from others who have had a build date that actually goes ahead on schedule. In anticipation!

I placed an order in April (23) for the same model but the sales exec wouldn't be drawn on the likely delivery date. Wondering just how firm your delivery date of July 2024 might be, or was it purely speculation?

My bad, lead time of 32 weeks!

Having discounted the Karoq and opting for the Octavia I got a very competitive quote from Carfile which was matched by my local dealer. The only rub is likely lead time of 32 months plus!

I spent a couple of hours at a local main dealer crunching numbers with a view to buy the Karoq or possibly an Octavia Estate and the dealer mentioned that he believed a further price raise was very likely in the near future. What's the news on the street or is this dealer BS?

In the market for the SE L in Meteor Grey and most likely, for the first time, to go down the PCP route. What sort of discount should I expect from a main dealer and any tips to get the best deal.....In anticipation!

I'm currently considering ordering an SE L in Meteor Grey but just wondering if the dealer is being optimistic in quoting a 8-10 weeks delivery time. Any recent real world experiences?

I purchased my Octavia SE Sport 1.4 Estate new back in January 2016 at the same time I bought the 2 year service plan which includes 2 consecutive services for which I paid £15.50 over 18 months, so £279 in total. Yesterday it had its second service and having had the opportunity to examine the paperwork it says Description; Carry Out 20000 mile service/ 1st Year Service with the normal list of oil, filter, screen wash etc but no plugs, air filter or similar. Total cost £139. I wont name the dealer at this stage as I'll be speaking to him later no doubt but as the total cost of servicing appears to be only £256 and I've paid in £279 I'm thinking why did I bother? So question is should I be expecting that the 2nd service should have been the major service, with plugs etc replaced, coming in at much more than the £139 that the invoice suggests or I'm I missing something here? Mileage wise I've only done 12450 over the two years.
