Are you sure its a 2002 model ? As far as I know the vRS was only launched in India in 2004 , for a remap contact www.petes.in he does remaps for the vRS from custom code.

Hi , I own a 06 vRS mark 1 in India , Its done about 27000 kms , now that summers are here in India with a vengence the AC's decides to play up. When started in the morning the AC works as it should , but after a longish drive say approx 45 mins with the AC on if I were to ever break journey and then commence again after a couple of minutes the AC takes approx 15 -20 mins to start cooling again just throws out hot air until the compressor kicks in again. I lifted the hood today after getting to work and switched on the AC , what I found was both cooling fans did not come on. Only after switching the AC on and off a couple of times both fans came on:confused: Any ideas on what causing the delay for the fan to come on ?? Just so you all know both fans were replaced under warranty a couple of months back as the the larger fan burnt out. Help would be appreciated..

Hi All I own a 06 vRS with 21k on the clock , ( stock 150 bhp ) off late ( past two weeks ) I have noticed a considerable loss in power when floored between 2500 and 3000 rpm. I did take the car to the authorised workshop where they visually inspected the hoses , but no tear or leakages detected. I also cleaned the air filter thinking that could be the culprit but no luck there either. They then put it on the VAG , no fault codes relating to the engine either. I did do a search on the forum and one of the other issues mentioned by users was the MAF sensor , if this sensor was faulty would it not show up on the VAG ? Anu suggestions on what I should look at next ? Thanks all !

Hi, my name is Ranjit and I am from Pune in India , I own a much sought after ( By enthusiasts here ) 1.8T vRS 150 BHP done approx 21000kms, the car is in stock condition. I seem to have run into some turbo related issues where I am experiencing a loss in power even after 2500 rpm, with a very prominent increase in the turbo whistle ! Good to be here will post more in detail in another post cheers !
