I can understand your viewpoint. In hindsight, I should have done things differently, but I have had other prioritys of late. As has been said, I have been in touch with Speednut and explained the situation to him. I'm not willing to air my private life on a public forum though. I'm in the process of rectifying the situation now.

Afternoon gents. As one of you eagle eyed lot spotted, I've not been online in quite a while. I have now got Speednuts contact number, a txt will be sent in the next couple of minutes and I will be calling him tonight to discuss. I will not be updating this thread unless I feel it absolutely necessary, but I will say don't judge a guy unless you know the full situation.

Which car manufacturer isn't?

Have you considered the Accord Type R. Could get a decent one for that money. Very similar in pace and handling to the Teg but has four doors and five seats. Deceptively agile for it's size. Plus not as common as the Civic.

What criteria do you need to fill? Practicality? Insurance friendly? Track driving?
-
I carry nothing to be honest. If the police pull you, they know what you have and don't have anyway.
-
I'm also waiting for the price before I decide on whether I'm interested.

Mines lowered on V3s and I've not had a problem yet. My Accord used to catch all the time, but this sails over speed bumps.

Standard in matt black for me.

I have come from an Accord Type R to the VRS. Both modded as follows: Accord Tein Coilovers, front upper and front lower braces. vRS V3 coilovers, thicker rear ARB, front upper and lower braces. Handling wise, there really is no doubt about it that the Accord is in another league. For a FWD car you will struggle to find something, especially of the same size, that handles so well. The vRS is by no means poor, it's just the ATR is that much better. Having said that, I prefer the vRS for 99% of the driving that I do. It is much easier to drive quickly than the Accord and much more comfortable than the Accord.

Fitting an after market back box???

Go for something tasteful that's in keeping with the rest of the car and is of reasonable quality and you'll be alright matey. -
the good the bad and the sensible

Or sack EBC off all together and go for DS2500s. -
Powerflow really does depend on the staff that they have at your local centre. For instance, the one in Newcastle is utter sh*te. But I know people in other areas of the country that were quite happy with theirs. As a rule though, I'd stay clear of them.

Am I the only one that would say that it is aggressive looking, rather than pretty looking? -

No. Not unless you replace it with something stupid. What did you have in mind? -

I think there was a situation where someone forgot to put 50p in the electric meter, causing a power cut and hard disks to shat themselves. I'm still up for this. -
Agreed. Regardless of the chain of events, Gary's posts alone would stop me from using them and would cause me to strongly advise anyone I know not to use them too.
-
Same matey. Mines about to hit 100k and mine seem fine too.
-
Just a quick one about the PM's. Surely sending the report out in PM's is pretty much the same as posting it on here? I would strongly advise against sending it out until you have taken any/all legal action that you plan to take. (Sorry all).

Fastest car you have seen use its power on the road?
tony_82 replied to coursemyhorse's topic in General Automotive Chat
Heavily tuned (600+BHP IIRC ) R33 GTR. The guy planted it in what I assume was second in front of me, the acceleration was just unreal. -

I know that this will go against the grain on here, but I certainly don't think that it's a pretty car. I suppose it's a case of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
