well, chopped mine in this weekend for a year old Mondeo derv....actually prefer the Octy, but couldn't put up with the un-reliability..... so, this is my last post....good luck Harvey!

just got mine (55 1.9tdi estate) back from dealer, who was at a loss, all the usual bits (battery, alternator, radio etc) either changed or tested ok..... they have been in touch with Skoda direct, and no help there. so, despite it dying twice while with them, i have to have it back (they need the court car) and guess each day if it''ll deign to start.....until they can find what it is (which'll be hard from my gaff 28 miles away) really not happy....got a pregnant wife and elderly mother with a heart prob......and one sick octy! what can i say, but Ford dealers, here i come.with a pig to p/x ,,,,,
