  1. Just re-read this thread... chances are now the intake is back to stock those settings are probably too high. The intake does make a fair amount of difference! I've never had any issues with the job ADS do for us, they certainly know how to set a car up! Glad you're giving them the chance to have another look at the car now your DV issue is fixed and you've different hardware on, I'm sure you'll be happy!
  2. Paul, I'm sure that Dave will run through the setup of the car with you and he'll be able to look at whether the issue you're having is 'fuel cut'. Without looking at the car it's difficult to say what the issue you're encountering is however it's easy to guess at! I've set up a fair few TFSI cars over the last month and have been able to run very similar settings to those you have, I'm sure once you've been back into see Dave you'll be more than happy!
  3. Hmmm, I think they might be getting mistaken with the earlier 1.8T prices. 2.0Ltfsi price is
  4. Hi Phil, is there anything I can help you with?!
  5. Unless I'm mistaken 'martyrobertsdj' went back to his Revo dealer (always the best thing to do if unhappy or unsure about the product) and everything's sorted now. I can't remember off the top of my head but think it was down to a faulty switch.
  6. It all depends on who or what it is reflashed to 'stock' with... The ECU's have a flash counter so that will be different, if checksums don't add up (so to speak) then the car will most likely not work. There are also different versions of ECU numbers, VAG will update ECU's and the version # will differ. In regards to our software we would flash in a stock binary file that matches the ECU in the car, so the version number will be the same. As for the flash counter, our software resets this to the last one anyway... no way of them seeing that anything's been done. However, there is alot of other stuff out there that doesn't work the same way so back to my first line... it depends on who or what is being flashed in.
  7. For more toys check these out... http://www.fastroadandtrack.co.uk/ http://www.racecarsdirect.com/
  8. We got back last night.. unfortunatley I had to take my old 16v Cordoba as my Ibiza gave up on me when I was there two weeks back. Great trip as always though, just had to make up for the lack of power through the twisties!
  9. Check this out: http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=GeneralLee
  10. If you're worried about warranty then you could go for a switchable software and put it in stock mode for servicing/warranty work, they wouldn't see any alteration then! As Stuart says though, certain dealers aren't too bothered about mods we do actually have dealers that supply our software.
  11. We offer software for the 1.8T Superb, in a 'default' mode running regular fuel you're likely to see 210bhp with 235+ftlb of torque. Software's fully adjustable using our SPS's (Serial Port Switches) so you can revert to stock mode, and set the car up to fuel specific performance modes. 5hr trial software is available for you car, have a look at www.revotechnik.com for your nearest dealer! If you're looking at getting more power once you've got software, then a turbo back exhaust is the way to go... that with a CAI (Cold Air Intake) and if you can stretch to it a Front mount IC would be quality!
  12. Have a look at the following for Ring opening times: http://julesperry.com/ring-2005-jp.htm I'm going accross July the 22nd for a few days to chill out and get some track time in, and then again August 5th-8th for a more hardcore session!
  13. I'll be there with a few guys from Cupra.net, looking forward to it!
  14. Have a chat with Dave from ADS 01772201597 he'll be able to sort you out. I was up there for their open day last month and the local Skoda dealers were there too, with a little VRS!
  15. That's quite amusing... just had a look at the party photos as well, spotted a couple of mates in there I didn't realise were doing it this year. Good luck to them!
  16. Good show this weekend, shame the weather kept taking a change for the worst. Highlight of the show for me... Warming up on saturday night in the jacuzzi at the hotel! Very amusing seeing the fake tan disapearing off the girls into the water! Saw a fair few Octy's in the car park, loads of Fabia's about... didn't see any on the road on the way back though.
  17. Just got my copy of Shred... agreed Spain looks like a good un! Was very disturbed to see Revo G modelling some of the clothing in there though. There are alot of us car fanatics come from the biking background. Had a couple of hours out over the weekend in between refitting my gearbox, only ventered as far as the new 4x track in Leamington though... took out the wrong bike for that as well!
  18. P1296 - Cooling System malfunction If the levels are all good then it's likely to be a sensor/wiring fault. If you're in warranty I'd take it into the dealers. There's obviously a problem there if the fault code keeps coming back!
  19. Have a look at www.mtb-wales.com and www.mtbwales.co.uk loads of good riding to be had!
  20. Heard some good things of the L200, I know owendevelopments in Oxford do alot of things in conjunction with Mitsubishi... might be worth chatting to them re tuning potential.
  21. times will be out soon! 2 or 3 trips are required this year ; )
  22. We've a couple of dealers of in South Africa, we were chatting about these the other week. Apparantly there's a 'Special Products' division of VW out there and you can order one of these through them with the NDBW 1.8T in it, that'd be a good one to import!
  23. Clutch issues aren't only associated with 'tuned' cars, there are plenty of standard cars out there as well as ones that have chips/software/tuning boxes that have suffered from seemingly early clutch wear. It depends on how you're going to drive the car, but they are reknowned as a weak point. We detune alot of our PD software due to clutches. I know JBS now have uprated clutches available for the majority of VAG diesels!
  24. Ummm, there's been a few quick things recently 550bhp+ 996twin 500bhp+ RS4 550+ EvoVIII Lancer FQ400 Deronda F400 was pretty quick Driven alot of v fast/powerful cars but some of the most fun have been underpowered good handling cars!
  25. Go to the main listings there are some quality movies in there!
