mine has done it every winter I have owned it... every year upto now its been fixed by the dealer mostly after arguing about if it was covered or not... so this year I will be trying myself.

Just to drag a topic up but what about the evac of the air from the system before you pump it back up???

I had the oil changed last week. We have checked it tonight and it seems very black, how long does it take to go black??? it seems very quick to me and I'm concerned that the garage hasn't changed it??

The book said it should be kept in the hatched area Thats my worry...... I'm thinking it might be long term and we wanted to keep it long term... I'm having the oil changed tomorrow, then will keep an eye on it every couple of days over the next two weeks then weekly....

I was thinking the oil light should have come on...... The oil was below the bottom bend on the dip stick..... I'm not sure why its used the oil, does anyone else with the TDI notice oil usage? It might have been the long motorway trips I did for work when we first got it, and it not running in properly?? Lucky we had no oil pressure lights. I have topped it up for going to work today, I think I will try and get a filter and some oil and change it at the weekend. Thanks for the replies guys. Hi all its been a while since I have posted. I gave the Fabia VRS to the wife. who has had it for a 18months. she was going down south working today so I checked the oil and it was below the min. We had it serviced 6 months ago and she has done about 6k in it. I don't know how long she has been driving with it below the min is there any test I can hove done to see if the engine is knackered? We wanted to keep the car for a few more years...:( Thanks for any hekp

they never said I did email autotrader not sure if they will do anything. I presume the cops did look into it I did send them the reg of the car in the pic. He even had a pic of the clocks showing the miles!!!! Not sure how the scam would work.. maybe he want the cash before the car, or maybe the cop just jumped at the email without checking it out. Ad not on the website today

ok guy's I was mixed so as per the autotrader FAQ's I sent it to [email protected] they responded today. Should of also said it was a 2001 RHD TT 1.8T 225 Q with 41K on the clock. The price the guy wanted was £6000. I saw a car on autotrader looked a good price so I sent them an email and got this response. Looks like the Ebay scammers Hi there, my name is Ben and I would like to tell you that the car is still for sale. The car is in 100% perfect condition both optical and technical. The car is on my name and I have all the service records books from the dealer up to date. I am the first and only owner of this beauty so far and I am selling it because I have moved to Germany for a few years with my wife and kids for business purposes and it's very difficult if not impossible to bring the car over here in Berlin. The car has never been involved in any kind of damage or accident so far. The car is located in London, England, where I have a home and if you plant to buy it and you are serious about it I am sure we can find a way for you to buy the car . So please tell me if you are 100% serious about getting this car or you just asked about it out of pure curiosity. Also, I forget to mention the car has all documents valid and the taxes paid.
