  1. Hi, The orange light that looks like an engine. The manual (on page 31) calls it the 'Control System for Exhaust' The manual then states 'the engine management system selects an emergency program enabling you to drive to the nearest specialist garage by adopting a gentle style of driving' I can live with the poor performance, but was more concerned that I would be doing somwe hidden damage.
  2. Firstly,I would like to thank VRStu for the advice about removing the radio, I was fitting the Dension Gateway 100. The radio came out OK, but you should really check the CD changer connector before ordering it, as it appears there are 3 different connectors. The Ipod will change track, but I still haven't managed to get the playlists sorted. However, I've recently had the performance drop off (engine running in safe mode) and I had the Mass Air Flow sensor replaced under warranty, which lasted a day, then the Exhaust Control warning light now comes on when the engine's warm and the car struggles to accelerate. My question is this. How long should I run the car with this light on (only comes on after an hour of town driving). I have to travel about 80 miles per day to work (all motorway)and the car is scheduled to be back to the garage on Friday.
  3. Thanks for that... Just wanted to say hello to the whole community, question being pasted as soon as I finsh this reply.
