My X reg mk 1 petrol 2ltr auto has developed a fault. After decelerating from say 40 mph and then accelerating the engine runs rough. It clears then is OK. No fault codes stored. Vac pipes OK. Anybody had this or ideas. Thanks

Hi Plugs out of my car were Bosch FR7LDC+. My local shop gave me NGK BKUR6ET 10 per autodata and haynes. Other websites give NGK BKR6EKC also Champion RC8VTYC4. Anybody tell me which is correct and were the ones I took out correct. Cheers.

Since posting this have found that Comma CHF 11S at £10 approx per ltr is alternative.

Hi. Anybody got an equivalent fluid for the power steering top up Haynes says Skoda hyd oil G 002-00 but wonder if some other makers equivalent.

Hi Anybody any idea on special tool required to pull off HT leads to enable spark plug change. To pull off metal shield and not the HT wire itself which can pull wire out of connector. Thanks

Hi I am new to Skoda autos. Last 45 years mainly Volvo. Automatics for about 35 years. Cannot find any dipstick and assume unit is sealed. Experience has tought me to change the auto fluid every year. Easy with older none electronic boxes. Anyway, would welcome advice how to change the Octavias auto fluid and if a filter is also fitted. also which fluid to use.My car is an X reg 2000 GLX.
