  1. I’ve cleaned mine with an APC and rinsed with a hose on the ‘sprinkler’ setting.
  2. I’ve not used Off Road Mode in my Scout, mine is a manual if that relevant. If it snows again I will test it.
  3. Incoraging to read people’s exeriance with FWD and winter tyres. I’m considering replacing my 4x4 SE L (with winter tyres) with a vRS 245 (with winter tyres). Sounds like I’d be ok for the average dusting. If it’s really bad I can use the Scout!

  6. I get 41.6 mpg (calculated using an app) from my 2011 CR TDI Scout. I drive a mixture of motorways and around town but mainly around town. I can get nearer 50 on a long motorway run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. After driving down farm tracks for a fortnight I cleaned my Scout from this to this It was just a spray down with Auto Finesse Citrus Power and a pressure was off, pleased with how it turned out!

  13. I get around 42 mpg from my iPhone app. That is mostly town driving with a boot full of test gear for work.
  14. Hi Does anyone know if you can disable the automatic boot locking feature using VCDS? This is were when boot is opened via the boot only button, it will automatically lock when you close it. My car is a FL Scout if that helps. Thanks in advance.
  15. Gave the Scout a good maintenance wash, it will need re-sealing in spring.
  16. My wheels and tyres, the standard 16" steels with Caddy centre caps on my Scout.
  17. Drove from Sheffield to Lincoln in it. Scout + winter tyres = excellent combination!
  18. Used it to transport hamsters for my girlfriend. She is looking after them for her housemates over Christmas....

  20. Mine is in the near side 'estate window' (the window between the C and D pillar). Anyone know is proper name?
  21. I feel your pain, had mine removed by a lorry, came off completely at the hinge.
  22. Got the winter wheels swapped for free thanks to Bickertons and given it a wash. Not looking to bad as the jetseal went on in the autumn.
