When i turn the car on full lock, (only from a reverse or standing position, NOT when im driving along) i get a loud clunk "Doing" sort of noise formt he front driver side, its loud, but then its over. I get it all the time, so i took the wheel off, thinking the arm or stabliser or something was broken, but i cant see anything wrong, but to be honest, not sure what to look for. does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks

Hi there, Ive replaced my front brkae pads, but there squeaking even for a few seconds after i release them. Aparantly ive been told i should have a applied copper ease behond the pads to cure this. Im going to take them back off today, anyone advise were exactly to apply it, with a picture would be great. Thanks all.

I have a rattling noise coming from the front right of the car, like a shiock/spring fault. Thing is the suspension feels soft like normal, anyone have an idea what this could be?. Cheers

Yeah i checked there, you mean the join in the cable? the one wrapped in foam?..I couldn't see anything from that one. Unless the controller is something else. I got the VAG-COM software and cable to read the codes, can you tell me were to plug this in please?. Thanks

All my interior ligts have suddenly failed. I thought that maybe if 1 bulb goes all 3 tripped? ( 1 in front 2 in boot). I checked all 3 and they are fine, so i thought maybe the fuse, checked those and fine also.. Any ideas?

Any idea on were i should start to look, if its a electrical fault in the loom.. Cheers

Hi, I had another post re4garding this, but unresolved, ill round it all up now in a new thread, so hopefully it can be resolved and useful to others. My central locking locks/unlocks like it has a mind of its own, this can happen every 5 seconds and then stops for a few hours. The car is the occy estate, manual windows, and central locking. Ive stripped down the door thinking the plug was there that may have been corroded, but being manual, its located in the boot. I stripped down the boot and found the plug there, wrapped in foam, just under the wiper motor, again this plug was dry and in good order, no corrosion or signs of damp anywhere. Thanks to everyone that helped regards this, now ive stripped these down and still have the trouble, can anyone give any advice on what i could try next please?. Thanks
