Hi, is there a lock kit required when changing the cam belt on this engine?

Managed to get a genuine window regulator for £85 (cheapest i could get), this one is slightly different from the old where the motor bolts on but works just the same. Cheers.

Hi, when I went to put my drivers window down this morning I heard a loud bang. Took the door panel off and found that the cable on the motor has snapped. Can these be bought separately or do they come as one complete unit (motor & mechanism)? Typical, the car's 2 days out of warranty. Cheers.

Hi folks, I'm looking to get a hold of one of these K&N Performance Gold Oil Filters for my Octavia Vrs(2004). The ones on ebay don't list the Octavia VRS 1.8T but do list a wide selection of VW's. Does anyone Know which VW engine would cross reference with the Octavia? Cheers.

Hi, I have a 54 plate mkI octavia VRS and whilst driving to work the other day the ESP light came on and stayed on. When it came to leaving work the light remained on and on pulling away the engine management light came on. They've been on since. I had the car checked out at the skoda dealer and they said the MAF meter signal was too low. They couldn't tell me why. Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this? Cheers.
