  1. The source of the creaking has been found. It was a bolt in the front wishbone that was loose and just needed tightening. Done.
  2. No I don't have a towbar fitted, so don't think my rear end is all out of shape, haven't done anything to cause it to so. Thanks for the information b1ackb1rd! As mentioned I had my front wishbones tinkered with a few weeks back, so maybe the alignment isn't a prefect as it was before, causing the creaking.
  3. I have updated my post to give more details of the annoying creaking that I'm experiencing. Thanks for the pointers so far, any more would be most useful. It's due a MOT at the end of the month so will get the garage to take a look at it then. Cheers
  4. I have recently heard a creaking when coming off the throttle and coasting in gear, has anyone else experienced something similar? I had my rear bushes on both front wishbones replaced a couple of weeks ago, so might be something to do with those, however it sounds too loud like it's inside the cabin. Any help would be most welcome. Cheers Edited post: The creaking is happening at any speed as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator. As soon as I apply the brake it goes again. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the car on the drivers side, behind the dashboard or lower down. It's hard to pinpoint but more like it's lower down.
  5. Hey, Got my car car repaired at Motts Body Repair near Colchester. Done a great job with the repair (as the pics below show) and are a happy chappy again. Only problem was they hadn't cleaned the car prior to me picking it up, it had been left outside and had dirty rain marks all over. I had to go back last Saturday to get it cleaned and have a couple of other small issues sorted out, which wasn't happy about having to do. Anyway all sorted now and spent the rest of the day cleaning the inside to match the sparkling exterior. Thanks Neil for the recommendation!
  6. Thanks Static for the recommendation of Motts Body Repair in Nayland. Taking my car in next Saturday for the work to be done. I will post pics up of hopefully the great craftmanship and my car back to looking as good as new.
  7. Hi all, Had a little incident this week by reversing into a post. My heart sank when wood and bumper made contact. Bumper and rear quarter panel damage occured. What an idiot! Anyway these things happen and now got to get the furby back to looking like new, with the minimum indent on my wallet. My local Skoda garage (Underwoods Colchester) are sending me a quote this week for fixing the damage, but have a feeling it will be pretty high. Has anyone got any recommendations of places to get my handywork sorted out (pictures below). I live in Colchester, so anywhere in that area would be ideal; or in the Norwich area, which I regularly visit. Cheers for your help
