We got our Yeti from Farmers, again no pushy sales patter, just honest answers to my qustions ( my first 4x4 /common rail diesel so there were a few ) took her back for a noise from the passenger side,could not see any thing myself, took an hour ( free coffee provided!!!) for them to find the fault, but only charged for half hours labour, as it was well hidden stone caught up inside the brakes, even gave me the stone,a polished many faceted little rock......

Hi, We sold our Zero rosso"s supplied with our Yeti (2,litre diesel 4x4 ) and got our local VW dealer (family friend before anyone asks) to fit Dunlop 4 seasons. in my opinion a big step up,and worth the cost, did ask for the Dunlops when we ordered the Yeti, but got what they had!

Just got back from France, saw only three, one at Pont Du Hoc and two more on the way up to the tunnel, I would have thought the Yeti would be a snapped up there, it being good for that part of Europe? in fact, saw more Yeti"s on the M!/M20 in one day than in one week in Normandy. mmm

Yes, Chinooks,noisey, smelly and got my "tash singed by one, good job had eye protection on! still they are worth their weight in gold,alot of guys are around due to their use,and I wish I could fly one ! happy days

We have last week returned from the Loire,( Chateau du Pin near Angers ) via Eurostar,and we did not see one yeti for the whole week, saw many Brits in Octavias (with hi-vis vests on the parcel shelf )even the fuel station attendent comented on the fact that they are" not common", I think I liked that comment ;-) Have now found one, same model ,colour but a year youngef less than a mile from our abode!!!

Back In the 80"s when I was a in trainingin a local maternity hospital, the placenta"s were saved for use by a well known face cream manufacturer, they would be plced in the fridge and collected on a weekly basis, I hasten to add, this practice ceased a time ago, and to my knowledge,no human tissue/byproducts are used by the beauty industry, A little later,human skin( with patien"ts consent ) was used for ethical research purposes!

We have got ourselves a Yeti se 4 x 4 110bhp, waited a long time for her. she is a great machine and if she lasts as long as the Fabia and as little trouble. well. even better. anyway, the common rail diesel engine is a little different from the pump duse( sorry) so we were wondering about a remap/ tune from the proffesionals up the road,only is it a good idea to up the bhp on a new engine ( less than 1500 miles on clock )? or wait until there is afew more miles on the clock? don t want to do anything to compromise Mrs C"s new car!!!!!! Hello All, Just got a yeti last month, before that had a fabia tdi, a good little car, now, for the plastic trim on the fabia I tried Kiwi liquid shoe polish (black )made a big difference, looked great and only a few quid a bottle, easy to put on and buff, give it a try, seems to last ages, dont let any dry on your paintwork, all the best,crabfat

Thanks for that, I will order a unit from skoda parts.com and try to fit it , seems the only downside from the SE model,( apart from the supplied summer tyres! they were OK but wish we had the vectors instead) anyway, Iwill watch for the parcel. Thanks,

Well, After many months of waiting and watching the forumwe have our 2.0tdi 4x4 SE!!! and it is not bad at all,the old Fabia looks almost sad beside it,(or rather behind it on the drive) so Mrs Crabfat, nipper (get it?)and I drove across the border in Derbyshire for a run.Just outside Chatsworth at the Grouse we stopped for refreshments and found another Yeti same colour and similar spec! Mrs C and Nipper hid as I decided to photograph the two together,well I thought it was something of worth, Nipper said something about me not being cool...... well, Mrs C drove back to home,and I enjoyed the ride home,in our Yeti,with REM on the Bolero,cant get much better than that..cool Thanks to all on the forum, the advice has been very helpful. all the best crabfat

As others have stated top up on vitamins and try using TCP ,an old favourite but works for me, dab neat on the lesion after brushing and just before you turn in to sleep, use the same in dilute form for a mouth wash before one fully develops, hope this helps,
