I have a 2005 Fabia VRS and my handbrake is playing up When I lift the handbrake it's fine around 5 clicks nice and tight However when I put my foot on the break the handbrake is really slack around 12 clicks. I had my cable changed and a new rear caliper last year which I was advised would resolve the issue. It hasn't. Any thoughts? Didn't want to tighten the hand break too much as it's fine without foot on the break.

Will try new bulbs but changed 1 bulb about 8 weeks ago. will let you know result.

Just been reading your post's got the same problem. Centre break light working but others not. Flashing glow plug light and bulb light on dash. Just changed break light switch on recommendation made no difference. Checked bulbs they look fine. What else could it be. Got a fabby vrs 04 if that helps

Looking to get my Fabia VRS Tuned, picking the car up on saturday. Wanting to know where to get it tuned around the South Yorkshire area. Can travel but within reasonable distance Also can the extra power be managed by the rest of the car? Will i be going through front tyres like an oscar winner goes through tissue's. Will i also have to update the gearbox or other item's. Any help appreciated. Thanks from New Comer.
