  1. Thanks Guys, Just rechecked the brakes and they are behaving exactly as you describe....in the engine turned off and turned on conditions. thanks again, Regards Richard...
  2. I have a skoda fabia vrs and have a strange brake pedel. If the brakes are applied or pumped, and pressure is kept on the pedel, the pedel slowley sinks 1/2 to 3/4 of the way to the floor before hardening up again. When driving the car, braking efficiency does not seem to be affected but the amount of travel before the brakes bite seams to move about. I suspect maybe a brake servo problem, does anyone have any idears. brake fluid level is ok. Regards, stonepoint....
  3. Took car to local dealer, Meadens of Sway in the New forest. Fault was diagnosed as a broken wire to the the air flap motor ?. 1/2 an hours labour and £5 for parts. Fault is now sorted thanks for useful coms from you guys.
  4. I am getting two recuring error codes on my Fabia vrs. 19557 and 19558. No other symptoms at all, only the engine warning light on the dash. I have checked the wiring loom under the bonnet and checked the wiring connectors to the EGR valve and the MAF sensor, all appears to be OK. The car is 2 months out of warrantee but had the EGR valve replaced about 6 months ago because of a leak found at service, the car has not shown any other problems. I wonder If any one else has had this problem or can offer advice on how I should proceed. Regards, Stonepoint....
