Many things went wrong from the first time I used Platinum and still feel a waste of time and money to go there. radio key lithium battery replaced and paid for but only later on Willis in London a real good battery was replaced and did finally worked what makes me really doubt of Platinum services. Dodgy situation I spent almost 500 pounds and other place in London simply connected the computer to the car and solved it in front of me..in 5 minutes. the most amazing is they tell me they dont understand what Platinum been doing to the car because there was an error reported by Wag.com that just needed to be deleted and after scanned again there was no error. everything was fine after that..maybe I never had a problem.. Platinum was a nightmare and I will never forget it. Just talking about it makes me angry.

After some problems, some mutual bad luck perhaps I can conclude they are friendly and want to make sure you are happy.

just done a phonecall wondering if they could check some noise in my car.. they ask me where I bought it..and tell me to go ask whom sold me the car (not skoda main dealer)..lol Guess they are just interested about selling new cars.. very disappointing

My first main dealer.. not long time ago.. disaster I must say. I always took my cars to small family garage nearby and they always been great, when not needed they would advise me when needed they would say how much would cost. Just got my lovely tdi L&K octavia MKI ..and always went to main dealer so I decided to find one near here. despite the the cost I looked foward to make sure all was fine and fixed. the small stuff was easy to fix and straight forward but when it came to fix something from air con they removed the dashbord replaced something that was not the problem and charged me 350 quid. well after a week I was there ofcourse, saying the problem remains. well guess they want to open again and replace the 3rd part they should had removed in the first place and want to charge 150 more..lol. charging me only 2 hours labour now instead of 4 to do the same thing. I will save the details for a private conversation cause unfortunatelly this is only small part of the misery. bad experience I must say..Im thinking twice sending it there to service ofcourse. I honestly agree they dont deserve our money.. and what I see its they just want to sell new cars.. they are not interested in helping you..while that guy that became a mechanic and open a business that really enjoys to fix not just to say he workds for..pff

Hi there ..nice to find you all Im from south west uk and just got myself a Tdi 130 Octavia MKI L&K. First time I own a Skoda and Im a very pleased. I still trying to understand this car even being used to the Golf Passat and Bora from family. They are not much different. and in many things ..most of all (value for money) Im very proud of myself getting this L&K. the car sounds so smooth and so powerful at same time, SO economical and confortable. Thanks apogee the links are with excelent detail. I will try to check what is the problem. I just got some friend telling me the hot air coming inside while we drive is normal in any car..lol. I guess it always get hot cause the car is hot.. unless you use your air con to make it cold. Im so naive about cars I wouldnt be surprised that its true. :-s

Hi Guys Just got same problem about some strange noise behind the dash. A dealer told me its the Heater Flap motor and its not really a big problem but if I want to replace it would be around !350. Honestly, the noise doesnt really bother me that much.. but Im feeling now its getting worse.. my air con doest work as it should and sorry my ignorance.. I wonder if thats the reason I get so much hot air inside when the car gets hot after a few minutes drive. If possible can someone explain me what are the consequenses if I dont repair it? ..and If I do repair it, this hot air will stop blowing inside the car if the air con is off?
