  1. No problem, thanks for the response.
  2. Hello there, I understand this is an old thread, but wondering if you still have the complete drivers side wing mirror assembly available? Thanks, Sunny
  3. Evening, Just a quick thanks to the guys who posted some replies! Got the brake light working this evening, it turned out to be the bulb in the top of the nearside holder that was blown. Replaced that and this has sorted the brake light out! Thanks again
  4. Both, thanks for your replies, they're appreciated. VWD, I did check that the bulb was the correct single filament type. When I get some daylight to have a look around with, I'll take the multimeter outside and investigate. Thanks again guys Sunny
  5. Evening all, was after some help. The indicator on the dashboard has lit up to advise that a bulb is out. I narrowed this down to be the rear nearside brake light bulb, but I've been out earlier and checked the bulb with a multimeter and found it to be ok. I tried a new bulb and this still didn't work! I'm beginning to get a bit worried also as the car is due it's MOT at the end of the month! Would anyone have any idea's as to where I'd have to start checking? Doesn't seem to be any water getting in the rear light cluster either. Thanks Sunny
  6. He's listed as a different seller I believe, something like gbautomotive i think! I too am after this upgrade and want to source my own discs and pads. I've had Brembo OEM discs and Pagid pads from GSF before and these seemed to be quite good (they weren't on the VRS though) Sunny
  7. It's just a squeaking sound really, no rattles or anything. I did check the rear light clusters, and they are tight against the bumper, but took it out for a drive and did the handbrake and it's a bit difficult to say, as I only pulled it very gently at first from around 15mph, and it didn't really seem to effective  Gradually pulling the handbrake harder, but then you get the warning buzzer going off so it's a bit difficult to tell. The rear discs do look pretty corroded though. Sunny
  8. Wow, thanks for the responses guys, will have a look when it decides to stop raining for a good amount of time. Sunny
  9. Hi, I seem to have a constant squeaking sound coming from what seems like the rear driver side wheel area. It's pretty much constant, but goes away when going round corners. Would anyone have any idea's as to what this could be? My thoughts are either brake pads/discs, or wheel bearings ? I know it's a bit of a vague question, but if anyone has any thoughts it would be appreciated. Thanks Sunny
  10. Hello mate, I had a local tyre shop fit a set of 205/45/16 Pirelli P-zero nero's about a month ago for £280 all in. Happy with the tyres, although the previous set were pretty much shot, and they were budgets, so a hell of a difference. I'd suggest speaking to local tyre shops near you and see what deal they can do for you. Sunny
  11. I've just had a set of P-Zero Nero's put on my standard VRS, and coming from a set of budget tyres that the last owner had on the car they are awesome. The traction light comes on a hell of a lot less, and they are a much quieter car. Got them locally in Rugby for £280 fitted for a set of 4 which I thought wasn't too bad. Sunny
  12. I bought my VRS back at the end of Feb this year with 74k on the clock, and it's now just gone over the 81k mark. It is a '54 reg. Sunny
  13. Hi there, Your car is awesome!! Are the wheels 8.5x17 all round? they do fill the arches well don't they!! Anyway, quick question regarding your coilovers, how do you find them, as I'm looking for a set in the near future. I haven't really had any reviews of the AP coilovers. I've looked at these and also the VMaxx coilovers, don't really want to spend too much !! Thanks Sunny
  14. Sunny76 - feeling my age too on here now! 32, and VRS Plenty of fun though
  15. Just thought I'd post a quick thanks to Lummox(Ross) as have just had car serviced today, and also uprated wishbone bushes. Pleased with the work done, was a good price and looked after my car!! Will definately be using his services again in the near future!! Thanks again, Sunny
