I hope it's the end of my troubles too, but that's probably wishful thinking. It's about time the dealer gave me my own personal parking space on the forecourt. All joking aside when the warranty runs out I'll be selling the sodding thing for about 50p if anyone is interested.

I love my vrs but its a pain in the ****. Its 20 months old with 46000 miles on the clock but it's been back to the dealers 14 times ( I would list all the faults but I'd run out of page). It's been off the road for a total of 22 days. It's at the dealers now, has been for the last 6 days. This time the the rocker arm blanking plates decided to fall out causing oil pressure loss to the top of the engine which resulted in the engine sounding like a bag of nails falling down the stairs. I'm convinced my car was built on a friday afternoon. Can anyone top my woeful VRS history. I'm going to sell this piece of junk in january, Any offers.

I use it to teach people to drive, warranty runs out at the end of the year. Need to get rid of it before it starts costing me the earth to keep it on the road, bloody thing is always at the dealers having something replaced. So far I've had, 2 roll bar links 1 seat cover - ripped 1 glove box new aerial new steering rack gearbox mount 4 new lower intercooler pipes - still bloody leaking. Been in garage at least 5 times sorting those bloody rattles. not bad for 34.000 miles covered in 13 months. great engine. fragile car.

I thought the same thing, fancy not thinking about the power in the chassis when designing the car, I need to get rid of my vrs by the end of the year. If there isn't a replacement i don't know what i'm going to buy, there's nothing else out there quite like a vrs.Don't what to buy some french or italian junk, might have to get a leon cupra.

Does anyone know if skoda will release a new VRS. Been told by a salesman at my local dealers that the new fabia chassis can't handle the power. It's a shame if they can't sort it out.
