  1. I'm struggling to find details on their website..can you shed any more light? Like how much? Does it work? Etc. I have reached the conclusion that JBS don't give a cr@p once they've had your money!!
  2. Is this a Skoda part number or a Seat part number? Thanks
  3. I'm running EBC Yellowstuff up front on Brembo discs and performance is vey good. Possibly not as sharp as Ferodo DS2500's but the pads do have indicator wires and are not 'track only', that the Ferodo's used to be. Don't want to give insurers any reason not to pay out!!
  4. I had one fitted after the dpf delete pipe and remap as the increased torque of the engine has a habit of snapping flexi-pipes! There is a little bit more feetback but the engine feels much more controlled and take up off the line is better. I've got a spare SuperPro one knocking about if anyone wants to make me an offer?
  5. £116.28 at Clickontyres! They were cheapest for my Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's too.
  6. Are there any aftermarket alternatives to the OEM bottom engine mount for a VRS tdi? Done a search and can't find anything!
  7. HAs anyone actually received a cheque from Skoda yet for refund of repair costs?
  8. I've just replaced my Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas with some more of the same for £99 a corner. Bloody good tyre for that price!
  9. After another chase to Skoda customer services I have had a call back to confirm that they will refund the cost of parts and labour for the three failed injectors....fitted by an independant. They've also asked me to book in to a local Skoda garage to have the 4th replaced!! Result!
  10. I've just replaced my third injector however all three were replaced by an independant. Is there any way I can reclaim the cost of the injectors????.......I dearly hope so yet somehow doubt it!
  11. The judder on mine turned out to be yet another failed injector!!! That's 3 now!!! My garage's supplier has 27 injectors on the shelf ready to dispatch, at £500 a pop you don't keep that many in stock unless you know there's a fundamenatl problem!!! Skoda/Audi/VW/Seat....when are you going to accept that the PD injectors are downright dangerous when the catastrophically fail and issue a recall to get them sorted. Their attitude shows greed and a blatant disregard for safety! Rant over!!!
  12. Fair point Queeg, keeping the dpf as clean as possible is top priority! I regularly polish mine when I'm down in the cellar (where it's dumped in the corner). The black smoke output when I put my foot down prevents any doubt that mine's a diesel!!
  13. With the cost of fuel going through the roof I've begun to use cooking diesel rather than V-Power and can honestly say that I don't think performance or economy have dropped off any. I don't doubt the marked increase in performance when running V-Power in a remapped petrol, used to use it exclusively in my old Alfa V6, but is V-Power diesel just expensive snake oil? I'd be interested to hear anyone else's thoughts.
