  1. Excellent I've had mine just over a week and really impressed so far. First Skoda and first diesel for me. What colour did you go for? I'll post some pictures when the showers stop :( Martin
  2. I was told that you have to take the battery out to get one of the bulbs in! This put me off slightly doing it myself as it would re-set all of the electrics, air bag lights? etc. Though if it's just a case of taking off the rubber surround and popping the new one in then fine by me. Martin
  3. Picked it up Friday, I'll post some pictures when there isn't snow on it!! Very impressed so far Martin
  4. Looking good Ants, I've got an Anthracite Grey Sport 1.9 Tdi coming this week. (hopefully by Friday) Martin
  5. The Megs #7 won't sit on top of the AG EGP, it will just wash off. Maybe jsut best to go with SRP and then EGP as gthe are both Autoglym products and will bond well together (aaaah!) Depending on what you want to spend, I find Carlack 68 and Jeffs Werkstat are a good combo. Martin
  6. Thanks I will do - after I've given it a good clean of my own, as from my experience of car dealer valeters (well Renault anyway), you're beter off getting a bunch of boy scouts to prep it for delivery. Cheers Martin
  7. Thanks for the comments I've ordered without either climate or maxidot, just gone for the standard spec on a 1.9 Tdi Sport in Anthracite Grey - hopefully collect in 2 weeks. Martin
  8. I use Carlack 68 after claying on my current silver Clio Dynamique (hopefully soon to be a Fabia Tdi Sport), I then use Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Jett, gives a lovely shine (sorry no pictures). Also, the good thing being in doesn't stain trip and even adds a coat of sealant to treated trim. Poorboys EX-P sealant is also good and I've had good results with Optimum Car Wax - more so on my wife's metallic green car as it contains a mix of sealant and carnauba wax. You can't knock Meguiars for good "everyday" car care products. Not sure of the rules of pointing you in the direction of these products or other forums that can offer more advice and as it's my 3rd post I don't want to get banned PM me if you want some more information. Martin
  9. Hi, I'm going for a 1.9Tdi Sport in Anthracite Grey Metallic. I'm possible looking at climate control and maxi-dot and have just posted a message on the Fabie 2007 section regarding the pro's and cons Martin
  10. Hi All, Newbie here. I'm going to order a new Fabia 1.9tdi Sport tomorrow and I'm after a bit of advice. I'm looking at possible having the options of climate control and maxi-dot, but wanted some advise on the pro's and cons of both. Are they worth the money in terms of what you get, "luxury" factor and impact on re-sale. Many thanks for your help. Martin
  11. Hi All, Newbie here just saying hello. I'm due to go an order a new FaBia tomorrow (currently a Clio driver but don't hold that against me Martin
