  6. hi all our octavia vrs has started to clunk when pulling off in 1st or reverse i thought it was the botton arm at first but now it seems like its coming from both sides? also when pulling off in 1st or reverse the car vibrates like mad,is the clutch/fly wheel on its way out or could it maybe be engine or gearbox mount gone? cheers
  7. i know its not a skoda but on my last sierra cosworth i fitted focus rs brembo's with 330mm discs and i only had 17x7 wheels
  8. imo the lcr brembo setup aint that much better the the standard vrs brakes obviously the looks department is far better
  9. if its the same sort of set up as our old passat its glove box out pretty easy tbh take the motor out and either replace the bushes or just turn then round and it will be working fine again.
  10. just removed both side boot trim panels, and where the wheel arch joins to the boot chassis, there are puddles at each side.... any suggestions?got nearly all of the trim out to see if we can see it coming in anywhere, but this seems only obvious wet point of the car...
  11. ive also got the exact same problem water on the left side of boot near cd changer and left side of boot carpet :'(
  12. thats a no no as far as i know mate pretty sure it has to be the green vag stuff you put back in.

  14. Think i need a new actuator for the octy vrs i can get one off a mate but its from a k03 turbo? what i need to know is are the ko3 and ko3s actuators the same? and can you change it in situ rather then having to take the full turbo off. Thanks lee
