For a number of weeks now I have been getting into my Roomster most mornings only to be greeted with the warning that a door is still open. After checking the drivers door; it turns out it's the boot, but I can't remember opening the boot. Anyway this evening I just got in and was opening the kitchen blinds when I noticed my flashers blicking as they do when unlocking/locking the car, as both controls were hung up I nipped out to find tthe bneighbour over the road (owner of a 09 Fabia) had just pulled in and locked his car. So has any one heard of another remote operating the boot of a Roomster? Cheers Pete Ryan

Rejecting My Octavia vRS MK2
Von Ryan replied to neebsta's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
neebsta, Where I live we have a local BBC radio station which runs a consumer program between 1100-1300 daily. They deal with all sorts of problems including the one you’re having. The only thing is; it must be done over the radio. They do get good results, I think its helps when they phone the offending company up and explain they are from the BBC. They will deal with people outside of the area. Here's a link to there site. Link Cheers Pete -

Just got rid of my Octavia mkII estate and I have a set of lockable roof bars (boxed - LAS620002A). They have only been on the roof once to see if they fitted (also fit Roomster/fabia Estate). £131 new, any ideas on a fair price? Click photo for more info. Cheers Pete

First Pics of new vRS Common Rail Diesel Engine...
Von Ryan replied to rsbspt's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Please can you tell me where about on the Skoda site did you see the info? My company have offered me an Octavia 1.9DTi Estate, in fact my fleet manger is just about to order about 16 Octavias. Cheers Pete -
Thanks for the posts, I think I need another test drive. My other option is a Golf estate (safe option; but a bit bland compared to the Roomster).

Been offered a Scout (1.9tdi) as a company car; I have an Octavia at the moment but would like a change. I have had a test drive; but no long journeys. So can I ask you gentlemen how comfortable is the Scout on a longer run? Does it provide enough lumber support? Also what are the noise levels like at about 80mph? Many thanks Pete Ryan

Is your arm rest factory fitted? If not did a skoda garage fit it or did you do it your self?
