  1. I haven't used them yet, but they seem quite sturdy. The primary reason that I bought them, is the nifty feature to store them "inside" the double boot floor. If you don't have the double floor, I would buy regular bars designed for rails. Also the Skoda bars have an oval shape that may cause problems with other accessories such as bicycle racks etc.
  2. The trigger activated twice during a 5 hour trip last weekend. It happened after a couple of hours with ACC turned on, which meant I didn't touched the pedals for that period. So far I've found the feature to be utterly useless, it triggers when I don't need it (awake and alert), and fails to trigger when I really should stop and take a break.
  3. When it comes to parallell the park assist does a better job than me. It does actually park in place with only 30 cm (~1 feet) of clearance on each side. I will post a picture tomorrow showing just that. When it comes to bay parking it works best if there is a car on both sides of the space, otherwise it tends to stray a little. One important lesson I've learnt, is that you need to watch the multidot-display, NOT the infotainment screen.
  4. I may have set a record here, production week 39, delivery yesterday! The order was placed june 6th so I had to wait a while, but with 4x4 that was expected.
  5. Indeed it does, so off they go. Thanks everybody for Your input and Pictures!
  6. Hello everybody. I'm getting a laquer sealant applied next thursday, and am considering removing the decals before that. My dealer told me to use a simple hair dryer, and they would come right off. Is this true? And is it safe? No risk of damaging the paint? I'm certain I want to remove the 4x4 decal, but more uncertain about Skoda and Octavia. What's your opinion? Any pictures of a car with the decals removed will appreciated. Thanks, Arild
  7. No, it's not legal in Norway. I think it was legal way back, but the fog light/no headlight combo has been illegal for many years now.
  8. No, I have them both installed. Never actually used the devider, so it was the first optional to go on my mk3.
  9. A roll of small garbage bags, a snowbrush / ice-scraper combo, an umbrella and some emergency flares. I do remove it from time to time, whenever I need to fold down the back seats.
  10. In Norway the Simply Clever package includes a small trashbin in the door pocket, the reversable bootliner and a multimedia holder which is a piece of plastic cylinder that fits into the cupholder. Safety vest and warning triangle are standard in all configurations, since its mandatory equipment.
  11. A small warning: there are two different options for the spare tyre (at least here in Norway), one regular 16" alloy and one smaller donut/collapsable type. Why they have the donut option is beyond me, one would think that the foam and the regular should suffice. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
  12. I guess it's because british models needs special customization (steering wheel on the right side), while we make due with the standard euro model. I was told by my dealer that all 4x4s ordered in Norway before june 30, would be produced in August. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
  13. Just to make the confusion a little bigger, I talked to my sales rep. today and he swore that my Estate scheduled for delivery in late sept. would come with chrome lists. Furthermore, he had not heard of any problems with the chrome, and the estates they received this week all had chrome lists. Now I do live in Norway, so that could be a factor. 15. Is that the final OTR price, including a full set of winter tyres? If so I need to talk to my sales rep again, I ended up close to 440.000 with your configuration. Arild Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
