well done such a lot of information, must have taken forever to put together you have worked hard with all your topics 11/10 picking my 63 plate 4x4 plus from showroom on Wednesday cant wait have been driving Skoda cars for about 10 years now this will be my first yeti was having problems with my superb ( electrical ) it seemed like it was in the garage every other week I was checking all the blogs on here to see what I was letting myself in for anyway just wanted to say thank you for all your input and effort cheers

as gianthotdog said could be many things I run mine for nearly 2 weeks in limp mode while visiting Cornwall having had turbo actuator replaced twice turned out it was a bad earth from ECU all good now some times error codes can be misleading if there is a bad earth auto electrician should be able to sort it out good luck

hi ya all horn not working local garage tested fuses all ok tested the horn itself all ok suggested could be airbag clock spring ? any ideas the local garage does not have a auto electrician if I take it to main dealers how much will they charge me ? has anybody had the same problem thanks to all who read this

Dave sorry to hear about your problems mate!hope it all gets sorted soon and cheaply I have just got a Superb 2011 tdi cr elegance estate picked it up on friday evening took it to main dealers today to have columbus sat nav updated not tried it out yet needed a couple daytime running bulbs changed needs front disc and pads being done wedneesday a few minor bits to replace its got a new mot so its good to go (I hope fingers x) you did a great job cleaning if I could get mine like that I would be a happy man things happen in life specially with used cars hope all goes well

Hi just a quick up date to the above took car to garage showed them the new resistor installed blower still not working said they would check it out? also asked for a service?check all brakes including hand brake?also washers not working? droped car off at 8.30 am wife recieved phone call 4.0 pm collect car and could she pay cash £220 for service that they could not fix blower they will arrange for electrician to check blower and rebook appointment?.could not do brakes because ther was not a locking nut tool in boot or any where else?.washers still not working?skoa dealer wants £92 + to remove existing lock nuts ? hmm I wonder wher I went wrong I will keep you posted

Thanks to Hearny and of course Wino the expert great photos made every thing clear I struggled to remove complete airbag but with the help of a trusty crowbar got it free I changed resistor but sadly still no fan and its not the fuse booked into garage tomorrow have just bought 07 fabia mk 2 tdi 8 diesel for the wife ther is a few things wrong with it think I bought a load of trouble anyway thanks lads for your help I will keep you posted ----- ps.this is a great Site well done Briskoda

front window wipers keep stopping completely have to stop car and get out and push them to start,could be dangerous when on moterway any ideas on how to fix myself? the car is already starting to cost me more money,octavia 04 diesel estate any suggestions wecome (i know should not have bought it) haha
