Hi, I've just got a 2010 Octavia vRS estate. It came with 2 keys, one of which worked and one which didnt. A quick battery change and the key that didnt work now starts the car. However, the central locking doesnt work with this fob. Any ideas how to resync it as i've seen various methods online? Now upon checking, both keys didn't seem to turn the barrel on the drivers door handle. I didn't want to force it incase they snapped and my 2007 was never hard to turn. Anybody had any known issues of the lock seizing or does it seem like the ignition has been replaced? Thanks for any help. EDIT: Also, if it seems the door handle barrel is different from the ignition, is there any ways I can have a backup to get into the car if the battery fails or is it best to just replace the lock?

Hi guys, Can anybody provide me a part number or a link to the plug for the reverse switch? I've only gone and broken it whilst trying to fix a damaged wire and I can find loads of the switches online but not the plug on the end of the two wires that connects to it. Thanks 👍🏻

Been away for a few days and got back tonight so had a look. Yeah it was the fuel temp sensor I'd replaced. 🫣 Located G62 now thanks to the help here and I'm going to complete the change over tomorrow. 👍🏻 Quick question, is it G40 coolant I'll need for a top up if I lose some?

No worries. I've not had a chance to go check but everything is pointing to it being the wrong sensor I've changed. 🙈🤣

You know what, it has part number 269416 on it. I just assumed that it was the part as it's the same, it fits and I'm sure where it is located feeds back to the coolant reservoir. Now I'm having doubts. 👀

Hi guys, 2007 Octavia vRS 2.0 TDi Temperature gauge on instrument panel stays at the bottom. MIL light on. Car idle is lumpy and also for first while driving. Scanned it and showed a code for a coolant temp sensor. Got a replacement from EuroCarParts and changed it. Still the same issues.
