  1. Many thanks for your input. There was no label on the boot floor, but there was an ID sticker on the inside of the spare wheel. This wasn't much help. However the ID in the engine compartment listed various weight maximums, and comparing these to the handbook guidelines, it matches the 110bhp spec. If this is right, then it means that the car is a year older than the first registration date, and worth less than I bargained for. I will take it up with the supplying dealer tomorrow! I grteatly appreciate your interest.
  2. Bought a 2004 registered Seat Leon hatchback 1.9 TDi last week and happily motored about 600 miles over the weekend. However, I am trying to check whether its a 130 bhp model, which the dealer believes it is but isn't sure, or the slightly older 110 bhp version. I'd be grateful if anyone can advise me how to tell. Many thanks.
