Anyone had this? 5 year old car 75k miles. Been quoted over £1100 to sort that's them assuming the radiator hasn't been affected. Last Skoda I'll ever buy unfortunately

I've got the dreaded faulty rear wiper motor issue and have managed to source a replacement motor. Fitting looks easy enough but tricky bit looks like removing the trim to get at the motor. Anyone have any experience if this? Thanks

Expensive lesson learned but with my previous dealings with skoda I had expected f**k all. All my VAG cars have had expensive repairs just outside of warranty and will be avoiding in future

I've just had a water pump failure 4 months out of warranty and have got it in at a local independent to get sorted. They are having to wait 2 days as the pump and timing belt have to come direct from skoda . Total ballache, don't suppose there is any chance getting anything back from skoda seeing as it's in a local independent garage?

So, cleaned the jets out today and lo and behold the rear wiper motor kicked into gear and started working again. Only for a bit tho and wiper arm stopped at 10 o clock position and now not responding. Faint hopes initially that I didn't need a new motor and now not so sure

Thanks for that, hadn't realised that the part wasn't specific to the mk3, appears to be used on a number of VAG vehicles

Mines a 63 plate, I thinks the wiper arm is still working intermittently. Whats the part required for the rear washer itself if it's blocked?

Has anyone had any issues with rear wiper? Mine is stuck midway across the window, prior to that it was working intermittently. Rear washer doesn't appear working either, certainly no screen wash coming out when I try. Thanks in advance

Can anyone recommend a cycle carrier that fits the Octavia hatchback? Think I'll eventually go for the tow bar option but looking for a carrier in the short term. thanks in advance

Just had it confirmed by skoda U.K. Customer services that it won't be covered. They couldn't explain how misting is not leaking in a sealed unit. Total waste of time dealing with them . Warranties are the biggest waste of space, cheeky gets even wanted me to extend the warranty on the car

It's an instruction that apparently has come down from skoda uk, only leaking shocks are to be changed under warranty. Misting does not count as leaking but surely it's the same problem to a lesser extent?
