  1. Totally non-PC and more importantly....funny. If only "todays" so-called comedians were half as good.
  2. Have to agree with Rob. I've only read reviews & reports about this movie, but surely it's totally unrealistic to live exclusively off "Fast Food" for any extended period of time? Anyone that does deserves whatever problems come their way. The whole basis of the film seems flawed to me.
  3. British Gas were running Adult Trainee type schemes to train fitters a while back. Might be worth getting in touch with them.
  4. Using that site... Downstream 2819 Kbps (352.4 KB/sec) 3044 Kbps (inc. overheads) Upstream 288 Kbps (36.0 KB/sec) 311 Kbps (inc. overheads)
  5. 2.71 Mbps here. Nice & easy to upgrade too Ahhh the joys of living in one of NTL's better areas
  6. Left Home at 2pm on a saturday... Crossed the Czech border 23 Hours + 1100 miles later. Did the return trip 5 days later.
  7. 11k ? Is it April 1st already?
  8. And remember, whilst your newly private (probably NHS trained) dentist is poking about in your gob with his pliers, ready to rip out the wrong tooth, you can sit there and be happy in the knowledge that you contributed to the nice shiny M3 that sits in the car-park outside his surgery. At least **** Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.
  9. Easy answer. Buy from a supermarket, don't expect the dealer service a customer will get. Like it or lump it.
  10. Incorrect i'm afraid. No business is obliged to take you on as a customer. It is entirely at their discretion. As for the repeat business argument, that holds about as much water as a sock. A customer who purchases from a car supermarket / internet dealer etc is more likely to re-use those sources as they are "cheap". If you buy from a Franchised Dealer which subsequently closes, then another Franchise will be happy to have you on the books as you are more likely to return when new car time comes around.
  11. I'm with the dealer on this one. If you want a dealer to kiss your feet every time you go into the showroom, then buy your car from him.
  12. My advice.. Reject it. It's a brand new car, so it should look brand new.
  13. A good advert for being able to run "standard" power on a day-to-day basis...
