  2. My clutch has started to slip and I'm now looking to upgrade what are peoples experiences with these clutches? Also how loud really is the chatter on a SMF, I know it wouldn't bother me but would it wake my family and neighbours when starting it up in the morning and clearing the frost say? Cheers!

  4. Nice one guy’s, it's been well prepped. I tried normal primer, plastic primer both have chipped looks like most are in favour of platidip going to go down this route next.
  5. What paint have you successfully used mine keeps peeling off  Cheers!
  6. +1 love my weitecs, had ak's before only lasted a year lots of rust and one failed shock, when I contacted there customer support they said it would take 6 months to get a new one?
  7. To get the headunit up and running all you really need to worry about is Swap yellow and red and just plug in and you will be away. Ignore blue and white for now until you get the booster then use to power it.
  8. OK just had a quick look into this. Kenwoods blue and white does the same job as solid blue, you can insulate this off and not use it until you get the signal booster from halfords, then when you fit that connect the blue and white wire to the blue on the signal booster
  9. Right quick guide. Red - Permanent live Yellow - Ignition Black - Ground Blue - Low current live Red and yellow need to be swapped as the Skoda iso connector has them the other way around. Black as normal Blue you can insulate off as this is not needed unless powering a separate amp. When fitting the signal booster this will run in line with your antenna, but will also have a wire which requires a live source while the ignition is on, as you will not want this running constantly. So you could use the blue wire from your head unit for this purpose.
  10. This is just a low current live cable which tells the amplifier to turn on if you are running a subwoofer for example, or if you have an electric extending antenna, I know the factory fabia head units have built in signal booster so you will probably need to purchase a separate one if you want a decent signal you can also power this from that cable. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con-ct27aa05-ct27aa05-aerialantenna-vag-active-iso-adaptor.html
  11. Recently replaced my AK coilovers for Weitec's but the rear does not go quite as low as before, just wondered what they are like with the adjuster removed ride and look wise. Cheers!
  12. Running 277lbs of torque, I would not be too worried about changing the clutch too soon. I have been on STD clutch at approx 290lbs since 20,000 miles now on 82,000 no slip.
