i like the rain, i work in a garden center and hardly anyone comes when its wet so i get to stand around in doors reading the paper or eating instead of working as there is no customers to serve lol

i see, cheers for that, i hadnt though of using speakers not designed for cars lol, i got a couple of shelf speakers lying about that im probably never going to use, but they sound quite good i might open them up n not fit them straight away but position them in the car and see how it sounds with my head unit, the head unit i have isnt bad but its definaly nothing fancy just 4x50w output like normal, cheers for the ideas, ill do some research

oh i see, are they not electric on most cars? ill just have to hope they in the right place. i wont bother fixing them

yeah you see thats the sort of thing i like, hate it when you here a scruffy little corsa or 106 coming past, some spotty dope in the drivers seat and all the bodywork rattling when the oversized sub in the back goes "BOOM". How much are the little unamplified subs? and what channel you run them off, i think my stereo has a little pre amp out but not sure, its only a little cheap lg mp3 cd thingy, nothing fancy.

the one that you turn as opposed to push, to further dip the beams if you got a lot of stuff in the back, apparently i have been told that they dont work on like 90% of felicias, is the fault in the switch os the lamps and is it worth replacing? its just the only thing that doesnt work on the car and its nice to be able to say everything 100% works lol

ace, i have seen the parcel shelfs in the estates, i got a hatch, im gunna try avoid put speakers in the parcel shelf if there is enough room im gunna try and some 5 inches in the two rear pillars, behind the rear seats, just above the seatbelt tensioners, i havent had a look to see how much room there is behind the trim though. good to have a reply, TOOK A WEEK lol anyone else... (if anyone reads it)... done any speaker mods? im gunna put a tweeter in each door aswell me thinks.

has the left stalk got correct connectors and movment? i cant see why they would make a whole new stick etc but if there isnt just wire it to the front ones, all three will go on one click, this could also be useful as the stalk on mine does not have a posotion to keep the back wiper on constantly, i have to push the stick away from me for it to go once. would the pipe for the water already be built in aswell as the wiring then?

in the passanger footwell left of the fuse box on my felicia you cant see it unless you get your head right down in the footwell, took me ages to find it first time, had the handbook out and everything lol

My felly just has two speakers in the front doors, was there ever an option for more speakers? rears and tweeters? as i cant think where they would have been put. I want to add rear speakers and tweeters, im not gunna play crap music too loud on sh!t speakers, i just want to have a bit of clarity for my music. And you don't get good clarity and sound from two ancient cheap speakers right down in the footwells lol. I was thinking of putting a couple of 5 inch speakrs in the back just above the rear seatbelt brackets just behind the rear doors, and im gunna try find tweeters as small as possible and sink them into the dash somewhere as i dont want ones sticking out has anyone else added speakers to fellys? if so where did you put them?

lmao i spend alot of time at my friend jasons house who has two kittens, and they seem to have a thing for shoes, the fight them and put the heads in them, also they steal lettice and cucumber from the tortoise in the garden and for some reason it often ends up in the shoes. if i come round for a few hours when i leave i have to shake the salad from my shoes that i left in the hall lol

I do, PAIN IN THE A55 when you drink as much water as i do. ...and the hand when your trying to pour boiled water in to a bottle for the fridge and you pour it all over your hand... doh...

i live in northampton where we got this stupid contaminated water atm and we have to boil all tap water before you can drink it, give it to pets or cook or clean plates etc with it and i only boiled some water and poured it all over my hand while trying to pour it into a bottle, it hurt lots.

my friend has a c3 and it feels very cheap inside, everything is made out of thin plastic, the pasanger footwell just has carpet stuffed up inside it, (my friends is a 54 model and well looked after) the plastic casing under the steeting column is ugly and wobbly also everything rattles and squeeks, the washers dont always work as the rubber pipe becomes clamped in the hinge side of the bonnet. also a rather low speed knock on the left mirror caused the mirror to fall out lol, also i find that there is no comfortable amount of revs in a certain gear for low steady speeds

assuming this are desktop machines... remove the hard drive from the ME machine, and insert it into the xp machine as a slave drive, then copy what you need and if its big enough to be worth keeping, then keep it as a second drive.

about 24 hours, there was water sitting in there when it was taken off, only a small amount, dried and cleaned it before putting it back on. didnt leave the bonnet open though, it didnt get any rain on atall whilst it was apart.

cba to dismantle it again, but its like not rough atall, but there is a bit of light orange colouring on the internal wall of the liner and top of the piston towards the front of the cylinder just at the top (top 2 - 3 inches about) in cyclinders 2 - 3, probably from recently when the head gasket went, seeing as it sat for about a month after it had gone. should start it either this weekend, or early next week (mon - tue) once the oils changed and i can then post how it sounds/runs.

just done the head gasket on my skoda felicia, havent started it yet but i think its gone well, just gotta change the oil (its full of water), pursuaded my mum to get some next time shes shopping, (im a 17 - 18 in aug - year old student, so i have v.little money, lol) so will start it soon, but one thing its runs alright regardlessly but there is corrosion in cyclinders 2 and 3, and i thought, well it means its going to give up one day, my dad reckons a year or so but i suppose it depends on milage, how long do you reckon, i was gunna drive it for a year atleast then sell it while it still works, what do people on here reckon? its a shame really, i like the car, its in good condition (apart from the loose jubulie (sp?) clip on radiator pipe that lead to the blown head gasket) but thats sorted, and would it survive a run from northampton to hull? as that may be where im going to university. thanks in adv for adivce, also its like on the inside of the liners and on the tops of pistons, how easy would those be to replace if it where to sease up? tyvmia

haha, didnt think you would well you should get at least £200 - £250 for it, its worth at least that if it works fine there is this toshiba laptop with an almost identical spec going for £260 TOSHIBA SATELLITE A60 15" P4 3.06GHz 1GB RAM 80GB HDD on eBay, also, Laptops, Computing (end time 19-Jun-08 20:24:14 BST) and there is your exact model of laptop going on ebay as faulty as it has an overheating problem (just like yours did) and a faulty ethernet card but thats no big deal so you could see how this one goes (as its bidding) and make a decision from there FUJITSU AMILO D 1845 LAPTOP NOTEBOOK P4/1GB/80GB SPARES on eBay, also, Laptops, Computing (end time 22-Jun-08 22:23:45 BST) hope this helps the other option is if you know any 17/18 year olds about to go to uni or if you have a kid who is or knows people then ask about, as most undergrads want to get a laptop to take to uni and about 80% are poor and want something cheap lol EDIT: also if you want to try the new one then you could open the packaging v.carefully and try it, the laptop will ask you to set up an account etc but if you decide you want to return it, then run the bundled recovery disk and do a full recovery then just turn the laptop off when it asks you to create an account again, just remember to put the disk back in the packet. to open sealed plastics and paper envelopes you can heat the glue with a hairdryer then peal it back gently with a knife, did that with the warrenty sticker on my xbox 360 lol.

oh dear lol, when your new one arrives see how you like it and then find out how much similar or same spec laptops are going for on ebay and weigh it up, thats if the returns policy says theyll take stuff back thats outa the box, bear in mind youll prolli have to pay delivery back, and i think ebuyer have some sort of systems where they pay you a smaller and smaller percentage of what you paid for it in th first place the longer you have it or at least they used to, then again the company keeps changing, they good now they were so **** at one point. of course when your mind is made up if you want i will quite happily come and pick the laptop you dont want up and take it off your hands free of charge if you would like, that offers always open

there is usualy a removable panel (usualy a peice of plastic and one screw) over where the cpu is, you can then take the heatsink and fan off clean it and reseat it with new coolant compound, coolant compound is v.cheap you can get it from maplins, and they give you way more than enough so you can do it again in future on another machine etc, i know someone with a laptop that overheats from time to time, as the heatsink just gets clogged with crap, some machines more suspectable due to location my friend smokes and has pets, so there is bound to be more matter in the air but at that spec, deffinatly worth ebaying me thinks that method should hopfully sort it, alot of laptops have fans that speed up with temp so it might keep the noise down too, v easy to do, and if it doesnt work then just list it as faulty on ebay, lots of people buy slightly faulty/damaged laptops to recon and sell or strip for parts i sold a very old laptop with a lot of damage and faults once, i was honest, listed them all, and it sold for £60 the thing was absolutly useless lol

i think that employers are supposed to respect the local demographic, so for example if 6% of the local population is disabled then 6% of the workforce should/can be, obv if no disabled people apply thats fair enough or if the job is completly unsuited like for example you couldnt do till work if you didnt have any arms (couldnt think of a better example, heh)
