  1. Lol I love "educating" chavs in what ever they are in.. the face is the best when a Skoda fly past them (with the speed limits of course). I nuked a pair of chav's in a Feista Zetec S last week near Leeds Bradford airport, they must have thought I was an unmarked copper as they slowed right down and pulled over. I think the roar from my zorst scared them
  2. Hi, Just got my renewal through from Zurich (Via a broker) of 879 for my Octy VRs 04 plate. (policy due for renewal on the 7th Jan 09) Got a quote from esure with all the trimmings for 810 which included 5k business miles. Can you nice ppl do anything better ? ( I am also paying by monthly DDM) Please PM me and i'll give you my details etc Thanks

  5. My mate had the PZ version of your's and it was fun to drive in the wet . Only thing was he was getting about 18mpg lol. but allways had a smile on his face
  6. Once those are done raid the piggy bank for a re-map and your defo heading in the right direction
  7. Thats well cheep for an 04 with 12k on !!!. I paid 7.3k 7 months ago for an 04 with 30k on it. Grats on the buy you will love it
  8. Cheers for that, I was hoping to get around 6-6.5k for my Octy (going up on here at the end of the month) and I have seen a few 130PD's on Autotrader for sub 4k but they all are around 110 - 125k. The mileage dont bother me too much just want to make sure I dont get a dog for that money
  9. I am considering changing my 04 MK1 Octy VRs at the moment as I have just changed jobs and this is going to require more miles to be done. I have been looking at some high mileage Superb's as I dont want to part with more than 4k (providing I get the right price for my Octy, Just need a workhorse for 12-18 months) Do any of you folks here run a high milage Superb and if so whats the pitfalls of this ?
  10. 29 had my Octy VRS for 5 months now and love it
  11. I am paying around £700 (which includes Breakdown, legal and all that) am 29 with 5 years NCB and 1 conviction (comes off next April wooooot) I should get it to sub £600 next yeat but I'll shop around again for a good deal.
  12. I get around 320-350 from a full tank or round town driving. I average abut 30mpg as well so not too bad
  13. Won't be able to make it tonigh as I am in lovley Stoke until about half 6 tonight :( I'll make sure I am free for next months meeting so I can meet some fella Skodaians
  14. hmm ok maybe they garage who replaced mine (for free then when I got the car) got it wrong
  15. This applies to the 1.8T units. The garage I got my VRs from had received a notice from VAG that the cambelt change interval had been changed to 40k or 4 years due to an increse of early failures. They are also other posts on here from VAG teckkies that back this up aswell.
