  1. yeah will book well in advance! wont be until next year now like cause kiddie winks need prezzies for crimbo so cant afford it. just bin out in car again notice big flat spot when on half boost round about 3000 rpm not there on full throttle! :confused: is the 15psi boost normal after remap?
  2. just been thru to darlington mk4 golf centre and had the revo free trial done on my occty vrs. very impressed with the performance of the car, noticed on my boost gauge that boost has increased from 10psi up to 15psi,i wasnt expecting as much of an increase as that! car seems to like it thou!! when i got back home to hartlepool went straight round to my mates who owns a honda civic type-r to compare cars performance, anyway ended having drag race i was expecting to get blown away by him quite surprised when there was nothing in it between us! gunna defo get saving for full remap but think i'll go thru to jabbasport as i like the idea of the custom map to suit my driving style, but cant fault the revo like!

  4. they are savage gauges! i know garage have had my pants down and shafted me!! when i booked car in they said it would cost about
  5. not sure on mileage think only about 10 mile i'm gunna contact consumer adives about it see wot they say! they done good job fitting the gauges said they had a nightmare with oil pressure gauge said they had to get an extension to make it fit!
  6. also noticed crack in windscreen a day later, went back to garage they saying nowt to do with them said they would go halfs on insurance excess as you can imagine feel a bit pi**ed off but wot can i do!
  7. got my car back wednesday after getting gauges fitted, put car in garage on monday took them three days to do job which i thought was a **** take! anyway
  8. anyone know of a website that gives instruction on fitting a boost gauge, oil pressure gauge and volt gauge to an octy vrs? ive bin searching for quite some time now and havent found anything! ive got car booked in to a garage to get them fitted but just want to find some instructions so i can give to garage to ensure they fit them correctly! i want them fitting to where stereo is and have purchased all parts needed for the job! any help would be much appreciated! thanks in advance!!
  9. was just unsure about how quiet it is, seems like a quality peace of kit took car for a decent run out dv definatly works alot faster than standard one! thanks for your post!!
  10. just fitted a forge 006 dv!my car is now very quiet when lifting off the accelerator no more fisssing sound is this ok? car also seems quiet when the turbo comes on boost is that ok to? :confused:
  11. thanks for the help!! think i will end up making the trip down to jabbasport and make a day out of it,i like the fact they can set the car up for how i drive it and for what i want i'll have to keep my eye open for the group buy thing going on on this forum and try and get sorted. thanks again!!
  12. i'll have to get out and hunt one down and see how my octy does! i'm wanting to get my octy vrs chipped i live in north east of england wots the best place to go to get a chip and remap? ive bin reading on this forum and jabbasport seems to be the best is there anywhere up here that does there chip and remap? :confused:
  13. i am just wondering if anyone who owns an octy vrs (chipped or standard)has raced an audi tt? how did you do? i recntly had bit of a go with a FTO, mines a standard octy vrs! only raced from lights up to 3rd gear but pretty much stayed with him, i had traction control on think that f*cked up my take off a bit. :rubchin:
