  1. Yeah I checked, all 3 brake lights working fine, hazards, indicators, sidelights, headlights etc are all working..... I will give it a go later..... but the thing is, when I turn the headlights on the warning light goes out. When I turn the lights back off, the warning light/noise come on again. If I turn just sidelights on, the warning stays on. My point being, if it was a dodgy rear bulb I would of thought the warning light would go out with my sidelights on too? Anyway, like I say the problem is intermittent and so far today no warning lights so I might have to wait a day or so before I can tell swapping the bulbs out makes a difference..... Cheers Steve
  2. Just to add, my car has factory fit xenons if that makes any difference at all to reaching a diagnoses.....
  3. Hi, my bulb warning light has been intermittently lighting up on the dash, accompanied the piercing sound of the warning tone! Problem is, I have checked and rechecked all my lights, indicators etc and all are working fine. I have also noticed that when I turn on the headlights the warning light goes out....any ideas whats going on?
  4. It's bl00dy ridiculous.... yet again this weekend we had tyres delaminating! (not in the race)... You have comments from people like Kimi, saying "It is too easy to overtake, so no point to really fight" and Hamilton saying "i can't drive any slower" and Button saying "But when we're going round doing laps three seconds slower than a GP2 car did in qualifying, and only six seconds quicker than a GP3 car did in the race, there's something wrong. This is the pinnacle of motor sport." "When I see a car behind I let it past because I'm doing a different strategy and I don't want to damage my tyres. If I block I might destroy my tyres. It's the same thing we had in China, waving each other past so we don't destroy our rubber while hoping that the guy who's overtaking will" Sounds brilliant doesn't it.....
  5. Think i had one of you in this post: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/257172-castle-combe-spring-acton-day-2013-270413-tracktime-clubstand/page__st__990#entry3241987 Last pic but one..... assuming thats yours, feel free to pm me your email and i'll send you a copy minus the watermark. Same goes for anyone else i posted pics of, just pm with your email and which car.
  6. Thats pretty much all the best ones, i've used my upload limit for flickr so that will be all for now.....
  7. Unfortunately i didn't manage to get shots of everybody, i had to leave just as the all skoda round got underway.... I managed get a few of the round before that though..... did they hold it together?? Nope!!! span and got a nice dent in the door as it collected a sign and cones....
  8. I'd have to agree.... as much as I dislike vettel, as well as not really rating him, this season I think he has raced his socks off, last race when catching hamilton he was driving his a$$ off and again the beginning of bahrain he did so again and then did everything right to take the win.... may have been a different story if alonso hadn't had his drs issues though. Shame to see rosberg fall back so quickly but on the flipside Hamilton moved up the order.... so was it down to driving style? Or set up that meant hamilton lasted a bit better? Or did Hamilton have more new sets of tyres? Lotus really are looking good though, if they can keep up with the development.
  9. To be fair about the tyres though, I guess it could just be purely unlucky rather than unsafe, but hammys tyre and 2 for massa does seem strange....
  10. Adding to the case against **** tyres and drs.... safety....this weekend shows just how terrible the tyres are, coupled with drs jamming open. The two features introduced to spice things up are surely at some point just going to lead to a very nasty accident. They've spent all these years improving driver safety and then pretty much thrown it all away by leaving all down to a game of chance of whether your tyres will delaminate at high speed or if your rear wing might not shut before the corner.... and its not the first time the wings have jammed open, only a matter of time before it leads to an accident. Other than that, it was a good race. The drs didn't didn't feel too fake in this one, ot did seem to get them in a position to overtake but they still had to work for it..... I still want to see the back of it though.
  11. The thing is I don't think there would be a problem with them ditching drs.... I think the tyres on their own have done enough to enhance the overtaking possibilities and they still have kers.... i think drs is great for the casual viewer that only ever watches the odd race and doesn't get too involved with strategies and politics of the sport, all they want to see is a car going round and pulling a few overtakes.... i feel its the hardcore fans that have had to suffer as a result, though from the last few posts it appears i may be wrong about that....
  12. I was perfectly happy when shumi/ferrari were winning week after week
  13. I love everything you 2 guys love about F1, always have always will..... But i do think they have gone too far with the tyres and drs is just ridiculous! i could probably live with the tyres if they did away the drs. Personally i was happier when we had decent tyres and fuel stops. At least the teams seemed to understand their tyres back then and it wasn't a game of chance as to whether the tyres would work from one minute to the next and for which team..... Yet they still had fuel levels to play about with to keep you guessing how the strategies would play out...... one of my favourite tactical decisions ever (not a popular one with most) was when Schumi stayed out to the last lap at silverstone to serve his penalty as he crossed the finish line! genius by my book and the sort rule pushing i love. Yes, i love all these chess games too but i want to see some real racing to go with it!
  14. really? you like just watching them breeze past, not even putting up a fight because they know there is nothing they can do about it with their 5 lap older tyres that have already fallen off the cliff and because the other car is using drs doubled up with a blast of kers..... They no they are not on the same strategy too so know there is no point fighting it at that moment.....
  15. I think they should do away with radio comms.... Yes we'd lose out on great quotes from kimi, but if they only have limited info at their disposal from the pit boards then will have to race their ass off as they won't know how the race is panning out.... and give 1 point for fastest lap. Get back to decent tyres and get rid of the bloody drs, sick of all the fake overtakes.
