Rubbish...... as long as it is serviced at a VAT registerd guarage using VAG parts it is coverd. Awesome probly did a better job as well as the last time i took mine to a dealer they put the wrong Oil in it.

check to see if the rear washer jet is leaking on the tailgate switch. Mine was doing it and in the end i had to get a new tailgate lock and sensor.

the last letter i had from skoda was stating 60K or 6 years. but had mine done at 50K and 90K before the Hybrid.

isn't it a 5 year paint warrentyl from Skoda???? dont ask you dont get.

PORSCHE BOXSTER BREMBO REAR CALIPERS VW AUDI 1.8T KIT on eBay (end time 25-Nov-09 20:45:30 GMT) looks like a better deal but still a little more then I think there worth. I know a brakers that has the porche calipers all time for £230-£260 a set.

the hoses it mentions are the ada[ter hoses from these calipers to the standard hoses, they are about £14 each from TPS and are a standard part from the LCR. They will fit under 17's if there spaced out a little but you will have to watch arch clearance and you may have to use smaller disks and I would imagine diffrent carriers for the smaller disk size. I have done LOTS of research into brakes as I want to upgrade the 312mm's I have as there not good enougth when I go on the track. Personaly I am going for some 4 pot Boxter S rear calipers with some custom carriers running 312 disks. Calipers are about £230-£260 and carriers are around £70, might be cheeper then these "New" calipers.

those two turbos are correct. There are also a handfull of KKK turbos that will fit. My Hybrid was a KKK from an 07 Ibiza PD130. You just have to make sure it is from an 8V PD block and it will bolt on.

normaly if it is a leek you will have noticable black smoke......

I wouldnt run V-Power and Millers as it is pointless. Cetane will be too high and you will get more unburnt black smoke. I run Millers and it does make a small diffrence on MPG on short trips, but you have to run a few tanks for the ECU to notice the Cetane increase and the increased injector dispersal. But it is worth noteing that in your handbook it does say to NEVER USE FULE ADDITIVES (it is in captaitals in my handbook lol)

this is the problm with most mainstreem insurance companys, but honestly mate if they won't insure the bits you should remove them. I was hit by a teenager in a corsa that was trying to cut in and out of traffic, he pulled in behind me and i braked as the traffic was and he hit me. First thing he said to the insurance company was that my car was moddified, they checked my policy and found i was coverd, he was trying to say it was my fault, when they recoverd his car it was taken to be fixed, they inspected it and found it was modified (wheels, exhaust, and induction kit) they voided his insurance. My insurance then used my legal cover and i took him to court for injury claims, and my insurance took him to court for damage costs to the car. the police then also went after him and procicuted him for driveing without insurance. Just be carefull mate and never think it will never happen to you.

i live in MK..... the home of roundabout so there is a lot of stopping and then accelerating to 70Mph. standard round MK used to get about 35-40MPG Hybrid i get 40MPG Hybrid running Millers sport4 45MPG drive to leeds to see the gf at uni a lot. standard doing 60-70MPH used to see 55-60MPG Hybrid doing 60-70MPH 60-65MPG Hyrbid with Millers 60-70MPG 67MPG last tank i drove from scotland with a full car and managed 575 from one tank. but that was a lot of 50MPh and 40MPH runs as well
