  1. The LED driver (ballast) is simply soldered into the original wirering harness, that provides 12v+ and ground to the original ballast, that drives dipped beam.
  2. My car is an Active version. In Denmark the rear light cluster on Active doesn't contain the small "blinds", that on the higher versions hides the bulbs, if you know what I mean. Hence, small LED bulbs with a reversing projektors will actually have better and more targeted output.
  3. https://goo.gl/photos/XbuqEj78MsEGeZkH8 You decide Also I've mounted LED reverse light as well as blinkers and all other bulbs in the interior.
  4. I actually did something somewhat controversial. I removed the original xenon bulbs and retrofitted 55w LED bulbs soldered to the ballast wiring harness to achieve the best output and comparable to the original LED stribes Kelvin color. Also I mounted 30w LED bulbs in the fog housing.
  5. An Active version in Denmark has the matte Black grilles.
  6. Yes of course. Took that picture to show why my Superb isn't going to be lowered for the next 30 years I own the house;)
  7. Superskoda LED's mounted in my 2016 Superb Combi: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-Combi-MEGA-POWER-LED-cargo-trunk-light-KI-R For the hatchback here: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-II/Superb-III-MEGA-POWER-LED-cargo-trunk-light-KI-R No other light sources than the numberplate LED's factory fitted on these pictures.
  8. Do you know if 7L68575119B9 is with rain sensor and auto function? Thanks Anders EDIT: Found the picture on the ebay artickle, and can see that the 9B9 I found was an extension of the part number. It will fit into my 2006 Octavia RS
  9. The information about maps and firmware is stored in the service menu, which is only available if the RNS has been modified to have this menu enabled. This can be done with VCDS.
  10. What about the Kufatec FISCON bluetooth module for retrofitting BT to a Maxidot fitted Octavia? I've fittet one to mine and it works like a charm..!
  11. No, using the drivning lights with the foglights, will just use the 1 bulb there is in there - with lower woltage though.
  12. In Norway and Denmark (where I live) daylight drivling lights are configured on all cars. On the Octavia you can recode the central eletronic (via VCDS/VAGCOM) to use the front fog lights as drivning lights, needing you to turn ON the near xenons at night. Using the fog lights in daylight as drivning lights, are perfectly legal in Denmark..
  13. Can you quote the coding for that. I would love to be able to release the button and still auto close.
  14. Both the frequency and the volume can be altered via VCDS/VAGCOM. I've put both front- and rear parking sensor sound thingie down to 25%.
