  1. Actually, as far as I know, this is the first Fabia with Suicide Doors on it. I'd say it's not a nightmare but definitely a hell lotta work... @Big Jase: 15 years behind? I wouldn't say so. I mean if you compare a clean body work made to meet the highest standards with old-school bad boy bodykits from the nineties... It's fine if you don't like it and that was not the purpose to post it here either. I simply wanted to give my Fabia an individual tuner look with self-made parts and ideas.. It's a little Japan oriented, I admit. I think my second car would appeal to you more. It's a VW Eos with KW coilover suspension, black polish 18 inch alloys and nothing more to it. That one is my daily driver and I want it to have a classy look. It's just a matter of taste and what style of customization you prefer. There are definitely other ways of customizing a Fabia too and I had gone another way if had got me a second Fabia... @devonutopia: well if you consider Switzerland as a part of Eastern Europe. But on the other hand, you don't consider the UK as part of Europe either, right? @The Underdog: I totally accept your opinion. But the idea behind this VRS was to turn it into something unique anyway; something people wouldn't expect from a Skoda as the brand is still not as prestigeous as VW or Audi, for example. But this way, they look at it and are astonished to find out that it is actually a Skoda :-)
  2. Hey guys... I thought I'd update this post with some more recent pictures of my VRS. Hope you like it...
  3. @ FILA: Yeah, I respect your opinion. And I know the definition of DUB very well. But did you also know that DUB stands for a style that my car incorporates? Besides 20" and up rims, DUB has another meaning that stands for overall clean and simple painted cars with big chrome wheels on em. I don't know but in my opinion these rims are absolutely gorgeous. Don't know why people think big chrome rims don't fit on a black Fabia. I personally think that multispoke wheels are not always the thing to go for. And chrome is chrome, period.
  4. @ SteVRs: I ain't taking my car with me. I would never dare drive my Fabia in foreign countries. It's way too dangerous. @ rest: Thanks for all your comments. I appreciate them even of those who don't like my ride. As far as I see people in Brittain seem to disapprove of chrome rims. In Switzerland people like it.
  5. I added 4 more pics. There you can see the black tail lights which I installed in the meantime and the engine, the covers and the 2 bonnet lifters.
  6. Thanks yall... Just to stop the speculations: The rear doors can't be opened from the outside and since they're used very rarely, I didn't implement any motors to make them pop off. I simply open them by hand from the insides when the front door is open. If I had cleaned all door handles, I would have implemented an automatic device to open the doors by one click on the remote. But I use my Fabia almost daily and therefore like to have handles in the front doors. Concerning the hood and the front bumper: Like almost all other things on this car, they're custom-made too. Actually, I designed the front bumper on my own. I got some inspiration from the Japanese bodykit manufacturer Ings. So, don't expect another Fabia to have this front. I know it is a matter of taste, but here in Switzerland people are more US/Japan oriented in terms of taste. That's why I made it look more aggressive with huge air intakes and as somebody already noticed the message the front wants to give is: Get outta my way or I'll eat you If you like I can also post the modification list. Btw, the wheels are probably the most expensive part on my Fab. The brand is 'Work' and they were produced on demand in the manufactury in Japan .
  7. @ vrs jamez27 Performance: Chiptuning to 165 hp and 410 Nm & K&N Airfilter. Nothing else. I'm going to Aberdeen coz I got a grant to study 2 semesters at the University of Aberdeen. I'm looking forward to it. @ ChrisRs No it ain't solid black, it's the original black magic paint. Maybe it just looks different on the pics.
  8. Whassup folks? As I'm gonna stay in Aberdeen for one year from next September on, I thought it would be interesting to get people's opinion about my tuned Fab. I finished the project around a month ago and it was a long way until my Fab got there where it is now. To check out the pictures, just follow this link
  9. Folks, I haven't read through all posts yet but I thought I'd let you know that here in Switzerland we've already got the blue version of the Fabia vRS:
