Hi All Have just read all posts Auto Glass are changing my windscreen on Thursday which has rain sensor fitted so not able to make any comments except that I was questioned about the windscreen to establish that the correct one was ordered

Had the same problem on my Octavia DSG 54 plate it would work sometimes then cut out when using indicators Faulty batch of sticks Had mine replaced not by Skoda Dealer as not under warranty

Having now owned (4) 1.9tdi 110bhp Octavia's 3 manual and my current auto My first was a new x reg all other secondhand my latest being the auto dsg which other than testing the gearbox function I drive on auto I have found little difference in the mpg between manual and auto using all on various types of journey I now use cruise control as much as possible which I believe also helps on mpg

Hi I have had 3 1.9tdi Octavia's all manual and all have returned good mpg My latest is a Octavia 11 1.9 TDI DSG on 54 plate which I have now had for 10mths with good mpg

Just had mine serviced Spanner and countdown miles show until mileage completed then no miles at start up just spanner which disappeared short time after starting I ran mine for some miles before service with no trouble

Hi Glad you can get yours replaced under warranty Just had mine sorted via VRSTU He sure knows his stuff

Thanks for the responce so far If anyone has had similar problems such as relacement of indicator stalk or module what sort of cost is involved as the vehicle is not under warranty

Hi Sorry if I am posting in the wrong place but new to this. I am on my 4th Octavia but this is the first with Cruise Control and it has a problem Sometimes it works okay until I use the indicator control to make a right turn then if on it cuts out or if I have used it but it is not on cruise then after I make a right turn it wont work again until I start a new jouney Any information on this would be useful

Hi I am now on my 4th Octavia but this is the first one that has had cruise control Sometimes it works okay until I use the indicator control which is the same arm that the cruise control is on Once I have made a right hand indication the cruise control fails to work again until I stop and switch off Then when I start a new journey okay again until I signal right I believe somewhere I have read that this problem may also have occured on VW and Seat Any information would be helpful
